I practice Saxophone about 30 minutes to an hour a day, sometimes more. I work on singing at least an hour if not more every day. Unfortunately I'm a lazy piano player and only practice it about once a week... sweatdrop

Back in 2007, I practiced an hour or so everday. Unfortunately I haven't been able to keep that up lately. Although I suppose I have no reason to not be practicing everyday except for Monday this semester!

Does memorizing music count as practicing? sweatdrop I don't practice much outside of that...sometimes if I have extra time after memorizing the show that week I'll look over tough spots in other songs.
I used to practice a LOT outside of band (for music classes) but I don't have any this semester...

I usually practice for an hour or more every day. I enjoy practicing, so I do so as long as possible.

I try to practice 2 hours a day, but I break it up between classes so that my hands get a break. I play flute, and I keep hearing tendonitis/carpal tunnel horror stories, so I never play more than about 45 minutes at a time.
On good days, though, I can practice 3 hours. biggrin

As of earlier this week, about an hour a night on weekdays, and only an hour due to school/homework/marching band/etc. Weekends will be...however much I feel like doing.

I honestly LOVE playing my sax, but I just don't like practicing. It's weird, I know.... But when there's something like Region or All State, I practice. I used to practice every day, because my band teacher in middle school was really retarded and wanted a "practice record" even though most of us just wrote down random numbers and kinda signed it for our parents.... (hey, it was only the initials... really easy to forge XD). But now I don't practice after I get home, because I'm doing well over an hour every day in Marching Band, and my mom thinks that's good enough for her. But when I stay with my dad for long periods of time, I do practice. And of course I'm technically practicing when I play at games, and soon when I play for Jazz band, but I don't do anything other than that.

I don't practice, just like I don't study. If there's a particular line or measures I can't get within the 1 and a half hours a week we have group practice, I'll practice my flute at home (I always keep it at home), but other than that, I don't practice at home. My mother doesn't like it when I'm "making noise in her head" like that, so I tend to stick to quieter hobbies. And plus, I never had formal training, so I never had it really drilled into my head to practice, practice, practice.
