I like CSI: New York a bit because of the characters. If anyone in the CSI franchise could be hard-boiled detectives, it'd be the fine folks of NY.
The doin'-stuff montages still piss me off, though.

They are rather annoying >.<

it kind of takes away from the story.

But it does let you know "This is WORK". We often cut out the WORK in our glamorous stories of Criminal investigations.

Hey everyone. new guy here just wanting to say hey.
I'm more of a fan of detectives like Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot, using the little grey matter in order to solve crimes instead of the footwork.
