Koiyuki Hmm...would it be possible to construct a webpage in CSS? Random edit: Gaia's source code scares me... ._. Well technically CSS isn't for constructing webpages - that's what HTML is for. The idea is, HTML is for making the basic struture and content of the page, and CSS is for styling and appearance. 3nodding Aww, its not too bad blaugh I've definitely seen (and coded) uglier source code.

See http://www.csszengarden.com/You could make a site with flash, but only if you're really familiar with the program. I know the basics of flash, but I could never make a whole site. Besides, most people hate flash sites. wink

I love that site xd But the site itself is constructed with HTML, and then styled using CSS. There are some things in CSS2 that can actually work similar to HTML in a browser, but there isn't much browser support for it yet - Firefox supports it, IE promises to include it in the next version (although they'll probably still mangle it xp ).
Strictly speaking CSS was created to separate form and content, hence the different roles 3nodding

There is a nifty little guild all about CSS and Profiles. Check it out! CSS/Profiles GuildI thought it would be good for people interested in that to check it out! I joined and I hope to redo my profile soon.

Koiyuki Ahh, got'cha. *notes, then wonders* How would a site be crafted so that you could pick a style for it, like Zen Garden or Chisa's site? You'd have to write the correct html for it - for example, a div with would have all the styles written for 'content', which would be in a separate file or in the html of the same page. I went through it a bit in my old profiles tutorial here, although there are plenty of better resources for CSS around.
