PSYЯEN - The New World
if you know the manga, then you know the general idea but i twisted it a bit:
In the the year 202x, NASA broadcasted on the news about an asteroid named Uroboros that was going to bring about the end of the world. When it had made contact with the earth, barely a few million humans survived. The asteroids decomposition in the atmosphere changed it and all humans who were exposed had their natural "blocker" removed and were able to use 100% of their brain capacity, giving them a new weapon, namely "psi".
Humanity used this gift to rebuild its former glory but some of them have gone made with power, joining the global domination order named "The W.I.S.E.". In order to oppose them humanity establish the counter attack military called "The J.U.S.T.".
In this chaotic set future, will the W.I.S.E. gain control of the earth or will The J.U.S.T. give humanity its long awaited peace of mind?

Aboard the Tenmura

This is a new RP that I made and I'm hoping to take it pretty far. Its a space epic/mystery set in 2610, our future. There is no way to include people after I start it so I would REALLY like anyone who would like to join to do so quickly! If all goes well it will be an exciting and engaging story!

Okay, so it starts off with these friends who are in high school, who all get a job working for some mysterious library. ((Intersting, yes? i know)) Anyways, while working there, the librarian happens to be a warlock, and never told the children to open the books, because he uses them to go to other worlds. (Like wonderland and others) They all happen to open a book, except for one, they all get sucked into a book. The ones who are stuck in the books, must find a way to get out, and for the one who is not in a book, a way to save his/her friends.

What are good starter rp's to get into that are just starting up?

The Academy is accepting late students if you want to jump in there but do it quick or you'll need to wait till the next opening, probably in a few weeks.

If you can come up with a good character for it Mel's still taking some players for Elsewhere but she's looking for committed players (not necessarily experienced but those that can post most every day) so make sure you're up for that.

Bayer is working on Steel Caverns but I don't know what level he's expecting for it.

It looks like there are a few active RPs in the Level One subforum so take a look there and PM the thread maker to see if you can join.

That should be a good start for now. I'll try and look into putting together a proper list or something but don't be shy. Just look through what's out there till you find something you like then PM the thread maker asking to join. We're a friendly bunch.
