Pixie, I don't know. I'm going to ask this, just because I'm HORRENDOUSLY curious about it.

If Kichi held up a gun to your head and said "there isn't a bullet in it" would you let him pull the trigger?

Depends how much I've had to pay for her living here should probably change her answer to that.

k I've gotten through like half your post.

funny things you are doing:
1. you assume that your life and your experiences = what is going to happen to me
2. you assume everything I am doing and plan on doing and have to do I have put here.

I don't have a car and I'm not getting a car. School is being paid through financial aid + student loans or I'm not going out there.

I can and will get a job when I'm there. I'm going to school for what I'm going for because it's in high demand and you WILL be able to get a job in your field before you've graduated the course.

I'm going out there before school starts so I can job search. Simple enough, if I can't get a job, I'ma have to come home. I have under $100 of expenses this summer, and almost all my paycheck I'm automatically routing to my savings account for canada that I'm not going to touch. almost is 80% and will be more if I figure I need it to be more.

All utilities and internet will be being paid for by kichi + 2 other people living there before I'm there, and when I get there the price will change from being divided by 3 to being divided by 4.

Living in a 2 bedroom apartment with 4 people is pretty much the cheapest living situation possible. Will it be expensive? Yeah. I'm going to need a job while I'm in school. But a job CAN pay for me to live, and going to school for baking WILL mean I have to pay for eating less.

Basically: I know a lot is up in the air. I know it will be hard to move out there. But I can't get a job there before I go out there, and I'm not waiting another year to move, and I AM going there for baking, so s**t's going to happen.

I'm not in a fairy tale land Q.

I would probably tell you to move the gun from my head either way. how much you been paying just changes the amount of squeak and the pitch of my voice.

ONE LAST THING Q.

I'm tiny and don't need much food and am going to school for baking and have had EATING DISORDERS. I know what no food does to you and I know how little food I can take and for how long. xD

Pixie, you could also try to see if you can work at the place you'll be studying at while you do. 3nodding
My sister did that, because my parents were all "why do you want to study again if you're already a certified cook" and would only pay for half of it (in another school).

If you can't, well, I'm sure you can find a job in no time or make cupcakes and sell them to your neighbors.

But won't your mom help you pay for anything...at all? gonk
Not even for the pure and sole reason that she loves you and who cares if you're 18 you're still her daughter? D:

Anyway...
good luck!

My mom just got out of a divorce with someone who sucked up all her money. She has thousands of dollars in debt to her lawyer and a life HERE to pay for. She does not have money to pay for my school. I might be able to get MINOR amounts of money a month but definitely not more than that and she definitely can't pay for my school.

Oh, true, the divorce. gonk

At least you're being responsible enough to try and get money on your own.
I'm sure you can. Or at least get enough money EVENTUALLY to pay back whoever helps you.

Q just because you cant keep a job doesnt mean Pixie cant smile I cant stand working and yet except for 3 semesters when I havent needed a job, I have had a job since I was 16. Granted I change jobs constantly, but I only leave one job when I already have another to go to. And just because you hate working shittons of hours doesnt mean Pixie will. I had a job for 7 months where I worked 55+ hours a week, and I did fine. I hated it, but I did it and didnt feel like killing myself. Pixie could do it too maybe.

Anywas~ I think Pixie if you get fafsa in time you'll be able to do school if you pay for it all with loans and grants. My parents make a shitton, but I'm still offered enough loans to cover all my school expenses. I am not however offered any grants. A lot of people wont take loans because they dont want to have to pay them back, but if you're fine with it you should be fine with getting school paid for. However I'm not sure how fafsa works for international students. It is paying for me in Australia though so I guess it should work.

I personally think you should live on campus, its so much less stress. You pay for it all at once, then you have food, housing, and utilities all semester and no worries about them being turned off. But I dont even know if the school you want to go to has dorms, and I know you want to live with Eikichi, in which case...I think you should listen to Q because that is going to be hard >.>
lol didn't read this til now.
I can't live on campus because I'm going to a community college and it doesn't have on campus housing. This is the only school in his province which offers my major and if he gets accepted to RCMP NOWHERE in SK offers it.

Anyway definitely my biggest problem right now is paying for stuff. you can do aus because it's through your school.
I can't get federal loans because they don't cover NSCC. So I have to get private ones, but my mom can't cosign because she has HORRIBLE credit, so I have to see if my grama will cosign. She payed for my GED so that's a good sign, and it's like almost NO RISK because of the job outlook, and even though GEDs are a lot cheaper than 10k loans it's not a huge deal.

Anyway all I have to do with living with kichi&co is figure out how much I'ma have to pay and get enough job so that I can pay it. Because they'll have everything bought already and know how much I'll need to pay when I live there, and since it's 4 people in 1 2 bedroom apartment it'll be pretty cheap. I'ma have a little monthly help from my mom and then just 1 $7.50 20 hour a week job + my mom's help is enough to pay for living there. And that is like making NOTHING and NO hours.

finished FAFSA :3.
