...the path before me lays uncertain... Briefly, Yuu stopped to wonder what perhaps San was doing now, and Huwei-sama too... He wondered if Huwei-sama perhaps had never traveled outside of the Earth Country either, judging by the excitement barely contained by the constraints of dignity. With a soft, contained giggle, the child freed another honey suckle he had found, finding the brief thought that fluttered through his head greatly amusing. And perhaps it would be possibly very true... Huwei-sama would be ecstatic to study the many different herbs and plants that grew here in Mugendai valley.

...the path before me lays uncertain... His fingers had brushed against the cool ground for more than quite a number of times now, and they were getting rather numbed. He supposed it was a good thing that at the least body heat won't damage the blossoms... But standing up, he approached Kadar, and deposited the four flowers he had obtained into the pouch. Yuu did stop to gently rub whatever of Kadar's neck his small stature allowed him to reach and whispered assurance...
"Not long, now."
Soon enough, Kadar would not have to stay in place.
Afterwards, as he gently warmed his hands, he did wonder briefly how close they were to finishing the task at hand - even though with the two had had offered to Noburo, Yuu thought he had gotten a fair amount as well. The boy quickly thought back, impeccable memory and diligent concentration easily allowing him the recall...he had five before Noburo's arrival and so with the four now and the one Aya started the task with...then they would need eight more...

...the path before me lays uncertain... Now, the closer that they approached the end of the task, the more excited the child grew... He was eager to see...the honey suckles were good on their own (judging by how happy Noburo had been) so he was wondering how Aya would transform the blossoms into candy... And would it be hard candy or soft candy...? Of course, and to see the aloe vera be transformed into burn salves! With the adrenaline rush, Yuu with great vigor eagerly searched for the remaining honey suckles he needed... To see these plants and herbs become treats and medicine...undoubtedly, he loved the idea, and wanted to see...to learn how to prepare them...
Aya-nee...Shima is really amazing!
And the proud majesty of Noburo-han (here Yuu felt a newfound twinge of respect for the owner by proxy as well, despite initial impressions of the Kage)...even Aya-nee's friend and Lion-han... Speaking of which...he really should ask Aya-nee of their names...he certainly couldn't call Maya and Baki "Aya-nee's friend" and "Lion-han" forever...

 [Dang.. I run to the store and you go on a mad posting spree. xd ]
As Aya plucked one last honey suckle from the ground, she went over to the bag and counted how many they had. "Well, I think we have enough now!" the girl said with a chipper smile. "Mugendai isn't far away now. Once we get there, we're going to start training. San-dono wants me to familiarize you with all types of shinobi techniques, not just medical ones," Aya explained to Yuu as she lead Kadar in the direction of Mugendai. "We'll start with the simplest of styles, which is taijutsu," Aya said with a smile as she thought of her first taijutsu match. "My first match in taijutsu was against Maya-chan, the girl with the lion you met. When we were both in the academy, we were equally matched in taijutsu, but now she's much more powerful than me with her fists," Aya explained, remembering how everyone, even Shuga, had stood around to watch the two students fight in the sand of the spar rings back at Shimagakure.

...the path before me lays uncertain... Yuu did stop but blinked once, clearly surprised that they were heading back, until by the rest of what Aya said, the previous information sank in... He briefly wondered if they had any extra honey suckles...but since Aya did not give a clear confirmation on quantity, he hesitated from asking. Though they are going to make candies, right...? So there were bound to be some extra pieces...and then maybe he can ask Aya-nee for a piece or two for Noburo.
He listened as she spoke of the shinobi arts San wished for him to be familiarized with - the small child nodding with what understanding of Taijutsu he already knew from books of traditional martial arts - giving to Aya his undivided attention. He was happy to finally learn of Maya's name (it would've been awkward otherwise) and was not surprised to hear that the Tategami kunoichi has chosen Taijutsu as her area of mastery...
At length, getting up and stretching before looking to the gyrfalcon, the expression in his pretty green-gold eyes a tacit pleading invitation for her to come with them too, Yuu then proceeded to Kadar and Aya...this time the child did not express the slight hesitation from the natural fear of horse-back riding he had shown earlier.
