Melanie looked up glaring at the ceiling like she was looking at God. "Um...my parents are around here somewhere." She wasn't a really good liar and mostly everybody could tell when she was but he probably wouldn't realize.

"Oh right? Well, somewhere around here is my freind. He is a kings son but keep that shh." He said with a wicked grin. "So your here alone huh? Dont worry so am i."

Melanie blushed lightly and laughed. "Yea...I'm here alone. Ran away actually, and I don't know where i'm going."

"Oh i see. well i didnt run, i just live alone." He said sitting at a table near the back of the hall. "If you are intrested you can stay with me for a while. i always sleep on the couch anyway, i nearly got rid of my bed the other day."

Melanie giggled sitting down next to him. "Why don't you sleep on the bed? Not comfy enough?"

Melanie nodded, "Thanks...a place to stay would be nice." she didn't know how much a hotel would cost, where ever they were going, so it was nice for the offer. "I could pay you if you want, and i'll try not to stay long, I don't want to be a bother."

Melanie looked at him a bit confused. "I thought you said your friend was here too, on this cruise. Wouldn't that mean their staying with you too?"

.:Anouncment!:. The New Years Count Down has begun, the music gets quiet and voice yelling, drinks being poured and passed out from everywhere. The lights are still flashing and everyone stands in pure inthusiasum for midnight. 5 seconds to go, but more then ballons will drop when the time is up.

Melanie smacked her hand on her forehead and slowly slid it down the side of her face. "I knew that." Melanie looked around noticing that they were starting the countdown till New Years.
