I mostly play zomg still to get recipes and loot to sell, or to level up rings that I haven't yet.
I'd be annoyed if there was a ferry fee, but not as much so if it was in gold and not cash. Any chance of that?
As for prom, I hope it brings back the ddr-ish dance game.
update: it did bring it back, awesome-sauce.

Yeah they seem to be changing the Zomg announcments back and forth and ive strayed from playing due to the frequent back and forth of soulbinding and orbs drops pretty much seems like they want to profit from it since alot of people made good profit form Zomg's initial launch; I dont think it will be any different than someone with 15 TC having 8 cl 10 rings on; the diehards will play and the lazy folk will pay as usual.

I'm honestly tired of this argument, "Gaia needs money." Especially, with the latest RIG (Random Item Generator) announced. I'm seriously wondering if I want to take a permanent break from this site.
Before you think I'm saying this because I can't get the items, think again. I can and would if it was through a different method. I don't like having a piece of cheese danglin' in front of my face and for me to do a trick just to HOPE I get the cheese.

Better late than never:
As far as the front page is concerned ((By the way love the new designs nee-san)) we should try to get like a team avi photo of some sorts.
I'm actually getting to play zomg more than I used to averaging about an hour at day at least. And now that I'm capable of farming in the shallow sea regions I getting massive orbs and getting around 1-3 rings everytime and I barely attack.
Reading those posts that you linked and truth be told in my opinion "shortcut" seems kinda vague in a negative way because lets face it, when people are not told whats going to happen naturally they start to worry, thinking along the lines of "HTF am I gonna be able to play this game now?" or "Whats the point of playing this game if the only way to have fun now is to pay money?"
To be blunt they should have just done what Artix Entertainment did when they made Adventure Quest Worlds. They made it so that players can play for free but they didn't hide the fact that the only way they were going to be able to make this thing possible was to "upgrade" by paying a various fee for 3-6-12 month access. But they sweeten the deal by not only giving those people ALL access pretty much but also giving you a certain amount of special currency so you can buy special weapons/more inventory space.
To put it bluntly They tell you flat out "You don't have to pay to play, but here's what you can get if you do help us out and pay to play.
then again Qixter probably wouldn't like my suggestions for the game anyway.
And as for Prom... seriously, they should have kept it similar to last years event. The rooms were an eyesore LITERALLY and the sharp game difficulty compared to last years gradual difficulty... its a nice attempt but all in all I have to say it blows... it blows the gay out of liberachi's a**s. ninja
However something as come to mind and I'd like to pose a question to all the knights: "How many of you can go into towns?" and by that I mean go in and not freeze constantly. I'm just thinking about our future event's both gaian and TROGK made events like we were talking about before.

That weirdo game boy item thingy (don't know what it's called, don't really care) is another friggin obstructive enigma in market predictions > _>
It's too bad Gaia has to do that, actually with your analogy Senpai, I really feel bad about most of the Gee boi crazed people I know o _O
Trying to get that cheese (I'm hungry for cheese now).

Well Gaia for the most part is run by idiots (because of they way they run things with many obvious blind spots not being attended to) I don't think they'd take any thought to your brilliance.
The prom this year is just "bad". The items, the way to get the items, darn curiousity fueled me to try it out :\
