As Hel sat there, unsure of how Aranei would take the comment she had just made. She glanced over at Corin and immediately noticed he had heard her, its not like she had said it quietly, but she still would have liked if he hadn't herd. It was kinda harsh. She did it again. She always ended up doing or saying something mean, and she never quite knew how to go about apologizing. Besides that fact, before she would even have the chance her twin would always say something in his defense. She flattened her ears back, but only for a second.
Hel was hungry. She stood up and hesitantly moved back to the kill. She approached the other side of Corin. Trying to be sure her twin didn't notice she nuzzled his cheek quickly as she crouched down and slowly began to bite into to deer.

Finishing up just in time to see the spectral spider hop onto the corpse and take it's share Corin felt himself a little struck with Awe, that thing was so cool! He could feel his paw starting to twitch, wanting to poke at it again just briefly enough to see how soluble it was. It took him a second to realise Lyssa was speaking to him and in surprise and defense to her words the first part of his reply was rather hurried and snapped "No!"
Then as he shyed away not wanting to see her eyes he leaned back to pretend to take another bite of the kill just in time for Hel's nuzzle. That helped the situation deflate immensely, he was pretty sure both his sisters loved him very much even though Hel was quite harsh at times, despite that she was just pointing out the obvious. Corin was possitive that he loved them anyway, and really did he get treated much different from them? He didn't think so.
In the second it had taken him to think all this over he was moving back, feigning to finish up once again with the meal and turned back to Lyssa. "I mean they don't baby me, they just look out for me, thats what family's do! We look after each other." He found a smile crawling onto his face from the edges of his mouth and any embarrassment quickly fading away into nothingness.

She giggled as Corin tried again to touch Zhi and it seemed Zhi didn't mind either that she was being poked.
Lyssa suddenly stared at him surprised and maybe a little stunned before looking back at the kill "I'm sorry, I just thought it was kind of nice." she whispered "To have someone to look out for you like that." Lyssa had only ever had Zhi. Maybe she had a sibling somewhere or maybe she was really alone... Lyssa quickly took another bite of the deer.
She flicked her ears to listen but kept chewing on a peice of fairly tough meat. "You know it really is nice like that..." she said after her mouth was empty, she gazed down at the floor. "I've never had that." she added quietly. Lyssa had always watched other lions from a far and wondered what it would be like to have a family siblings and parents that cared.

Aranei gave a glare in her twin's direction, her tail flicking for a moment before she rolled up her eyes and gave the whole thing up. She really didn't want to fight, she had no reason to fight her sister. She knew her sister cared, she just had a much different way of going about it. Sighing under her breath, she watched her siblings quietly, noting the conversations until she finally stepped forth herself to grab a bite of the meat, tearing the flesh as a gush of blood splattered from her lips. She only smirked, though it was a mildly vindictive smirk, "Well, get use to it." She stated a little forthright in Lyssa's direction. "If I'm not mistaken you'll be spending quite a bit of time with us, so you have no choice now. Be careful what you wish for." Chuckling a little, she swallowed her bite before clutching her jaws onto another.
About the cub Arei said relatively little, she watched the mild bickering, letting the natural instinct of the cubs alone. They would learn their own paths for now, teaching could come later, or at a more appropriate time if it was really needed. However, it seemed the cubs were fine for now. Shifting her head as tendrils of hair fell over her dark blue eyes she said but a few words, "Where did you find her?"

Corin smiled as Lyssa spoke listening intently, as he opened his mouth he was over cut by his sister Aranei. He didn't mind, she'd pretty much said the same as he was thinking just in slightly different words, he was far more obvious more toward Hel's way of speaking most of the time. As his sister finished and started chuckling he started to bounce from left to right on the same two spots repeatedly. He was merely going to ask if she'd like to join the family, and perhaps go and plee with his mother, if felt like she's already been here forever, despite the fact they were all getting to know each other still, but he desperately wanted to impress and play with her. "Yea Lyssa you should stay! And then we can play all the time, and we can look after each other! And then" He winked stopping his rapid bouncing only briefly enough to nudge her gently "You can be babied too!" He joined his sister in a chuckle, the mood was much lighter now. It seemed like that most of the time, the five of them up and down mostly just the three of them, the cubs, but now there would be another cub? And her cool spider! That would be awesome! At the thought Corin began bouncing again.
Lin was only mildly paying attention, with her eyes they barely moved from Arei's position, in which case they were closed most of the time. She was paying attention her and there with her ears, when a voice would become agitated and squeaky, or excited. Arei's caught her ears instantly as they rotated to attention at the question, Lin's reply came softly, without her eyes opening, or even a stir. "Outside, another night walker, survival instincts... minimal. Sweet, young and willing to learn, by the sounds of things." A smile crept it's way to the edge of her maw erringly.

Hel sat back from the food. She turn to her brother, puting her paw on his head and pushing it to the ground, "and just whos going to babie her? You?" She gave a smirk, then she pulled back her paw, she laughed playfuly. "Well you should stay here anyways Lyssa. Besides I just dont think we can let you leave." She tried her best to have a creepy look on her face when she said it, but really he face just looked goofy.

"Well that might not be so bad.." She muttered with a little smile before taking another bite. Lyssa flicked her ears in Corin's direction as he spoke Lyssa swallowed holding in her laughter at his entusiasm and nodded. "That'd be fun." she said with a smile before eyeing Hel for a moment "Really, think you can Hel?" she answered raising her brow before bursting with laughter at the face Hel made. It was goofy.
It was better here than there alone in the forest. Lyssa Took a few deap breaths trying to get her laughter under control.
"What kind of face was that?" she said still highly amused.

Just before Lyssa started to speak Corin made his comment, slightly ducking as he did because of Hel on his head. "You will, just like normal!" He snickered and darted away from Hel and next to Lyssa, sticking his tongue out and starting to laugh at their new friends and family members words. "Nu uh! We're not going to keep her against her will are we?" He looked to Lyssa with a little bit of a sad pout "You want to stay right? And we can have lots of fun." His belly was full, both his mothers where there and Lyssa was due to finish eating any second, then they could all play together for the rest of the night. A smile lit his face at the though of them all collapsing with laughter afterwards then curling up the four of them and sleeping the hot and sunny day away.
(Time to tie it up methinks so we can get the next one going with them all at the next stage xD)

"And just why would we not?" Aranei rolled her head to one side to shoot her brother a look, "You know... torture is a bit of fun..." Smirking a little she twitched her tail around Lyssa's, giving her a brief mischievous glance. Moving from Lyssa, she finally plopped on her brother, stretching herself out on top of him. "Even with you." She then nipped at his ear playfully.
Arei gave a glance at Lin for a moment before nodding. She figured Lin spent the most time with the children so whatever she felt about doing with the girl was up to her. Granted, Arei's own nature wouldn't let the girl go homeless no matter what Lin had decided. "Well, if you choose it she shall be a good addition."

Lyssa looked at Corin as though contemplating whether or not she should stay, though the answer was obvious to her anyway. "I'll stay she smiled at Corin who was beside her now. Even Zhi had gotten back up on Lyssa's shoulder gave her approval.
Aranei spoke now, Lyssa shot back with a mischievous grin right back at Aranei she watched Aranei circle then land on Corin. Lyssa laughed. She wasn't quite sure at the moment what torture meant but it was probably fun and she was certain to learn quickly. It would be good to have that thing called family.
(Agreed, Rip I'll talk to you on MSN tomorrow morning)

Corin didn't mind being the center of attention even if it meant he was 'tortured' he feigned pain and held back laughter, smirking all the while.
Lin nodded "Stay, she shall." At that was that, the little Lyssa cub was part of their family now and would stay however long she wished. Growing up with Lin and Arei's two girls and boy, a strange family, perhaps, but defiantly a loving and vibrant one... even if you couldn't see it in the cover of night.
(Ending it now unless anyone has any objections, amusing they all finished eating, played and giggled the night away.)
