And I'm hoping you don't really hate all mormons as you claim?
You're sooo gonna get banned from Gaia one of these days if you keep enjoying troll humor like that.
I try to be nice to them sometimes, but they're always horrible in return. They think that gays are demons, Jews need to be converted in a big Soviet re-education camp in the sky and none of them are polite enough to apologize for the existence of Utah, which is offensive in and of itself. By "they", I mean the Mormons I tried being nice and polite to. After that, I just gave up and started hating all Mormons.
Congratulations, you are almost as bad a Jew as I. YOU HATE ALL PEOPLE BELONGING TO ONE RELIGION.
Alright, maybe I don't hate them all. What I do hate, though, is anyone who would knowingly give financial support to an institution that takes away people's civil rights and breaks its agreements. In the California election, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints pumped money and propaganda into the proposition 8 campaign -- a campaign to take away the right to gay marriage.
Now, Mormons are required to give about ten percent of their income to the church. That ten percent goes to feed the hungry prophets for all anybody knows. If you ask pretty much any Mormon, he or she will tell you that the tithes weren't used for the campaign, and that it all came out of the prophets' pockets. Now, where did the prophets come up with these millions~? If it wasn't tithes, it had to be a Ponzi on the side, because simple fund raising just couldn't do it in this economy.
Furthermore, the Mormons have a habit of baptizing dead Jews. So far, they baptized Moshe ben Maimon, my great-grandpa, Ann Frank and the list goes on. They signed an agreement, as a little research will find, to stop baptizing dead Jews. They broke this agreement and with it a little commandment against bearing false witness. If you ask a Mormon, though, he or she will say it's a CORNERSTONE OF THE MORMON FAITH.
Alright, I can't hate someone who blindly puts his or her money into an organization devoted to taking away people's rights and desecrating other people's ancestors. A chump is a chump and we're all played for chumps now and then. However, someone who knows what the organization is doing to others and puts money into it anyway has knowingly and personally slighted me, and there's nothing in the Torah or Talmud that says I have to sit down and take that.
