Yui san Twilima LAST NIGHT.
In Violet Hold, my tanking friend was talking to me about the Staff of Trickery.
Pretty nice, it would be a major improvement for a fresh 80 hunter like me. (Trying really hard to get geared, it's hard to run heroics when you come prepackaged with a tank.)
So, guess what, it drops!
OUR HEALING DRUID STOLE IT FOR HIS OFF SPEC!
He didn't even ask to need!!
I lost of course. Greedy d-bag. I hate this game because of people like him.
/rage
"The Bird of Hermes is my name...---------------------------------------
Once upon a time, long, long ago when my first toon was leveling, I braved the darkened halls of SM Library for the staff off of the last boss.
Finally, it dropped! Yay! I hit need, and a warrior in our group needs it as well.
Me: "Uh..wtf? You're a warrior." warriornub: "Ya I need 2 lvl my staff skill"
I lost the roll. ];---------------------------------------...eating my wings to make me tame." Oh wow.. people are idiots. :[
They should've just bought a gray item and gone nuts.

Well mine wasnt a big deal but when i was on my 80 lock we were doing a heroic and my epic belt drops and i lost a roll to a 80 mage who got out dpsed/damaged by the tank... Mind you me and the tank hit 80 a day before..so you can immagine our gear is pure s**t...And i outdpsed the tank by far and this mage was going 16 or lower% of damage done..being behind the tank by 2-5%..
oh we did another heroic after..his damage did no go up at all...we were carrying him... crying

On my main I've always been really really lucky with rolls but on my alt it's the opposite ;/ The worst that I can remember was when I rolled 99's for the bear mount 2 ZA runs in a row and ended up losing both to 100 rolls.

I havnt really missed out on loot being a member of our guilds loot council and officer, But we did kinda do something pretty evil with loot.
>.<
Basically this scrubby Dk joined our raid and he was horid less then 1k dps on most fights (Naxx 25). So we downed everything including KT and the Betrayer drops, Ofc everyone that needed it in the guild already had it so this kid thought we were going to give it to him. So we announced Open rolls on it. He rolled highest and basically started going crazy quite literally screaming in vent, So our raid leader and loot master passed it to himself DE'd it the n gave him the shard with the words "Enjoy your loot and thankyou for raiding with us".
I know it was evil but my god he was bad >.<

There needs to be rules on the Master Loot system... Blizzard's too stupid to realize, nobody EVER raids without it.

Yume wo mite Namida shite Kizutsuite mo . . . The only one I can think of had me more annoyed really than scathingly angry.
Before Ulduar was released my guild did Sarth 25 3D every week and, against my better judgement, used an open roll system to roll on the drake. It seemed initially fair, sure, but we also had a few people every raid who went to very very few raids.
So, one night we down the boss and throw out our rolls. I rolled a 99. To say I was elated would be an understatement. Several seconds after everyone finished their rolls, though, another priest beat me with a 100. The annoyance stemmed from the fact that the other priest had attended less than half of our raids and none of our progressive raids while I'd been there every night.
It only further pushed my anti-open roll sentiments in a raiding environment.
. . . Genjitsu ha gamushara ni kurushi

I have one. Found this great sword and rolled greed with everyone. In total, about 4 others next to me. We all rolled 100 perfects. we did it two more times. We got same numbers again, both times. Then the a** of the group rolled a need and took the sword. If i see that guy again.....

80% of OS I run, Fury of the Five Flights would drop. I'm a rogue, that was the best trinket available. (Pre-3.1 here) EVERYTIME I would roll a 13 or something really low. But what really threw me over the edge was when a MAGE rolled a 98 on it, and got it.
