Ishii Fujishiro [Underconstruction, BTW, she's based off of Balaika from Black Lagoon. ;D]

1] Where is your character from?
Ishii Fujishiro grew up in a war-torn planet with severe political and military unrest. The planet itself was in war and that was how it was and how anyone thought it would be, but soon, they saw how wrong they were. The economy was quite poor due to resources being wasted on various wars and merchants refusing trade for fear of death unless they traded from outside the planet's borders. In general, the citecenz had learned to fend, haggle and negotiate between themselves in order to get certain goods. They also learned and developped fighting, manipulation and various other skills that pertained to warfare.

Slowly but surely, the planet became engulfed in an economic gutter until all the fighting ceased as there seemed to be no more point in warring and death with most of the resources gone. Various soldiers and private military contractors found themselves out of work.

Growing up, Ishii Fujishiro had to learn certain skills to survive, but while she seemed to have no choice but to do so, she also reveled in the thrill of having power, money and gaining influence. Fujishiro joined one of the military organizations. There, she landed a position of command. One by one, victory after victory, using whatever means necessary and taking care of her unit, she slowly gained the loyalty of the men and women she was responsible for leading. Even though her motivation weren't exactly pure ones, she truly came to think of the soldiers she commanded as family.

2] What is your character's physical description?
Human, age 40, standing at 5'9, broad shouldered, shapely and medium build. Black hair flows from the top of her head, wears an eyepatch to hide her cybernetic eye.

3] What kind of Mannerisms does your character have?
Outwardly, she's generally all business, polite, chatty and determined in the face of clients. She is subtle in her dominating, sadist, warmongering and powerhungry ways but expresses it if she wants to; is not a pleasant woman if you're her enemy as she will ruthlessly seek retribution should you mess with her or people she considers friends and family. She is loyal to people she considers friends and family unless they doublecross her and go against her business.

4] What is your characters motivation to be on-board Trancity?
After the war, Ishii and her soldiers didn't know where to go and what to do as most of them had their homes destroyed by the collateral damage the planetary war brang with it. In other words, they were homeless.

A few days later, the group had learned TranCity was coming to visit. They had heard it was a welfare and socialist ship and that the passengers were given the essentials of living. For the general group of soldiers, it was their only chance of surviving the pauverty and death that was about to consume their soon to be former home, so they boarded and applied for citencenship on TranCity to survive.

For Ishii, it was a different matter, she couldn't accept living like everyone else and thought it was an opportunity for her to be successful. Ambition, greed, ruthlessness, thrill and power were her core as she boarded TranCity.

5) What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Manipulation, negotiation, organization, analyzation and guerrilla warfare.
Human, most regular human's are vulnerable in some way.

Once she considers you a friend or family, she will be loyal to you unless you doublecross her and directly oppose her in business.

6) What do you like and dislike?
She likes opposition to her authority for she enjoys challenges. Dislikes cowards and people who lie to her. She enjoys having money for the symbol of power it brings her.

7) What is your characters psychology?
During the war, she came to love the thrill of manipulation, money, power and killing. She is loyal to people she considers friends and family, almost to a fault, however, she isn't stupid enough to think they would never betray her and she will consider you her enemy if you go in opposition to her. She, along with many of her former subordinates are soldiers at heart. She fears losing her surrogate family, but knows death is a part of life.

8] What does your character fear?
Losing her surrogate family and friends.

9] What does your character love?
Money, thrill and power. She loves her surrogate family and honestly cares for them.

10] What does your character think of his home world
It's a sh**hole, but it was her sh**hole and the only home she had before TranCity.

11] Does your character have any prejudices?
Towards her enemies and clients, yes, you can never be careful with who you do business with.

12] Where does your characters loyalties lie?
Surrogate subordinate family and friends.

13] Is your character in love? married? betrothed?
Ishii has never fallen in love or been married.

14] What is characters family like?
Growing up with her family, was like boot camp on survival, politics, negotiation and war.

15] What does your character's family think of your character?
Has no biological family anymore, although she considers some of the men and women she commanded during the planetary war to be her family. Some have utmost respect for her and some are indifferent.

16] Is your character a gentleman or gentlewoman
Outwardly, she gives off an air of civility towards clients and authority. Inwardly and behind closed doors, she is somewhat of a dominatrix, warmonger and sadist.

17] How religious is your character?
Not religious. She can believe a deity exists if shown absolute proof. However, will still be the same regardless of a deity's existance and the legitemacy of a religion.

18] Is your character a member of a guild, organization, or secret society?
Ishii is a sergeant for the Ferals gang dealing branch, an organization focused on making money rather than gaining territory and power. Unfortunately for Ishii, Ferals has a strict code of conduct about using certain methods.

19] What does your character think about the concept of slavery?
Indifferent on the general issue except for slavery concerning those who she perceives as friends and family.

20) What advice would you give your character if you could talk to them?
Try not going on powertrips too much. -_-

Name: Bren Land
Age: 22

1) Where is your character from?
Bren was born on a space station orbiting the planet known as Numyop IV. The planet was currently in the process of being terraformed, but due to the lack of funding, it was going far slower than projected. To house the people that were supposed to live on the planet, the companies built this station, complete with all the basic necessities...and that's it. Designed to fall to the planet when terraformation was complete, the majority of the station was filled with colonization equipment and other safety machinery to ensure the survival of it's inhabitants...but all this made a life of luxury or even the life of a middle class family impossible.

The prime train of thought in the schools on the station were those of survival, mechanics and other utilitarian skills, along with the basic skills of math, English and the like. Unfortunately, this limited the students scope of thought to what was to come: The eventual planetfall of the station. All but a few escaped the choking influence the companies had on the station, and those ones managed to leave the station, either through escaping or committing some offense to remove themselves. Bren was one of these, escaping the station on a trading vessel that had become curious of the quiet station. Soon after he found himself on a Trancity ship and has found it to be a sort of paradise, his schooling in survival and agriculture being extremely useful and profitable for himself and those around him.

Having lived on the ship for several years now by supporting himself through agriculture and various mechanical side jobs, Bren has earned enough to purchase himself a quarters on the lower-mid section of the ship on the outside of the ring, allowing him a view of the vast darkness of space. Having lived here for a while now, he's been to many parts of the ship and learned many things...like to carry a firearm at all times. He's gotten himself into trouble plenty of times, but also proved himself to be a savior of those caught in a bad situation. Overall, Bren's had an eventful life...and that's just this small part.

2) What is your character's physical description?

Bren is a human, nearly identical to the Homo Sapien of Earth, with only minor mutations due to the sun of the Numyop system. He stands at 6', and weighs in at a healthy 190 lbs. His hair is a dark blond, but in the dark it tends to glow, especially after absorbing large amounts of sunlight, even the light generated in the Biosphere. Having worked in his fields for so long, he's grown quite lean, and is capable of lifting a great deal and running long distances quickly, but not much faster than your average man. His eyes are a light blue color, and refract light a good deal, making them look to glow in the light.

3) What kind of Mannerisms does your character have?
Bren is a quiet person, until it comes to talking about his ideals, beliefs or defending himself or others. Usually he's quite shy as well, until he knows someone well enough. He also will defend those who he considers innocent from those who are aggressive for no reason.

4) What is your characters motivation to be on-board Trancity?

Bren's reasons for being on Trancity are to find himself a new life, forge a new living and to provide for himself and a family that he wants so badly. To reach this end, he will continue his agricultural work, along with any side jobs he is capable of, from mechanical to pest extermination.

5) What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Bren is extremely handy when it comes to anything agricultural, animal husbandry, survival and mechanical dealings. He also has basic training with his weapon, and a decent knowledge of street fighting. He lacks the amount of schooling as a lot of people, but more recently he has come to light on a lot of subjects.

6) What do you like and dislike?
Bren likes to be 'outside' in the 'fresh' air and 'sunlight'. Of course, he prefers the real stuff, but he takes what he can get. He also loves to work with mechanical stuff, from robots to toasters. He's also gained an affinity for firearms recently. He hates thieves and bigots, along with all those who force themselves upon others.

7) What is your characters psychology?

Bren is driven by an urge to be free. Living on Trancity allows his freedom, but has limitations set that do not hinder him at all, but more protect him than anything. He's also driven by an urge to preserve his name's honor and continue his family name.

8 ) What does your character fear?
Ever since he was little, Bren has always been afraid of any stinging insect. He'd read about them and learned about them when he was little, and since then has always had a fear of them.

9) What does your character love?

Bren wants to own a larger piece of land in the Biosphere and raise a family there. He doesn't want to be famous or legendary or any of that jazz. He just wants to raise a child in a good environment and eventually find that planet he could call home.

10) What does your character think of his home world?
Bren never thought too kindly of his home station. He'd left it in the first place due to the cramped and suffocated nature of the station...he just couldn't take it. But he may return one day, just to see if it had fallen to the planet yet...perhaps meet his family again.

11) Does your character have any prejudices?

Bren tries to give everyone a fair chance on their first impression. The only prejudice he would have would be against heavily mutated humans. The reason being is that they are a gross distortion of the human race, plus most of the time he finds them rather gross.

12) Where does your characters loyalties lie?

Bren's loyalties lie in his friends and family. He works for himself, so he hasn't to worry about an employer down his neck, and his home station isn't going to be able to get at him from here.

13) Is your character in love? married? betrothed?
Although he wants a family, Bren has yet to find anyone to start one with. He is quite shy, and has a hard time getting over certain barriers with women, but works on it all the time. He doubts it will be much longer before he finds the one.

14) What is characters family like?
Bren's family was dead set on starting a good colony and help grow humanity. They wanted the riches of the new planet and the chance to become something great. This hardly rubbed off on Bren...he was more of a black sheep than the rest of his siblings. He went off doing his own thing, and his parents disapproved, but there wasn't much they could do for it. The only things that rubbed off on him was his family's determination to get what needs to be done...done.

15) What does your character's family think of your character?

Bren's family always thought of him as a bit awkward and weird, always preferring to do things his own way rather than the way they were taught or told to. They otherwise thought him to be a near genius, by the stations standards and looked to him for most of their problems.

16) Is your character a gentleman or gentlewoman?

Bren is far from a gentleman, but he's no scoundrel.

17) How religious is your character?

Not religious in the least bit, Bren actually believes them to be wrong and all accounts, but won't speak his mind to others unless provoked to do so.

18 ) Is your character a member of a guild, organization, or secret society?

Bren is a part of The Agro. This allows his property to be protected and his profits maximized thanks to the security they provide.

19) What does your character think about the concept of slavery?
He sees slavery as a terrible thing, taking freedom from those who deserve it and forcing them into a role they would never have played otherwise. Although profitable at times, it is still a terrible thing and should be abolished throughout the galaxy.

20) What advice would you give your character if you could talk to them?
Talk more! Don't be so shy! Take charge, rule what you own! See that woman over there? I know you want her. Go talk to her, dammit! She's not gonna bite your damn head off.
