Haha, yeah, I've tried doing that as well with a couple of games. It doesn't work too well for me. I like knowing what's going on with the story.
Plus I need to know where to go to next. xD

Exactly only with pokemon if you don't need know where to go, you can always just try each exit and see where which one lets you go. -Normally they put a dood in the way stopping you. Its when they are saying get me water and you don't know thaaattts when your screwed.-

Definitely. That's where I'd get stuck. If they have any additions to the game as far as the story goes, I'd have no clue what to do. xD
I can go to an online guide I suppose, but I'd much rather be understanding what I need to do/where I need to go right from the get go. xD

Jouju: The G/S/C remakes are actually long overdue to make all four generations compatible with one another in some way. Especilly ince G/S/C seems to be the fn favorite.
Most fan thought G/S/C were the best genertion because it had a realistic but difficult number of Pokemon to acquire, two full regions and two full sets of badges to obtain as well and references to yourself from R/B/Y/G. It was the most well balanced game in the Pokemon Farnchise so far.
Admittedly, I'd love to see a game with all four regions in it with the option of your character starting in any town of the player's choosing with a local Pokemon as your starter and I'd love to have the option of joining the bad guys at some point as well. That would be my ideal game, keeping the "See it to record it" Pokedex from D/P/Pt, of course. That allows the player the leisure of creating their own unique adventure.
And I've said already that Pokemon are no longer being handed out. *Changes the first post since that seems to be the only part of the thread people read*

I'd love to see a game like that, too, and the second generation games were/are definately the best, but I don't think they can fit all the data into the game cartridges. :
