“The following match is set for one fall, and will end after a pinfall, or submission. This match has an hour time limit, introducing first from Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada, He is The VIPER, HUNTER SULLIVAN!”
*The lights begin to fade, dimming to a calming light. Green and purple start to glow and flash, the arena looking to the stage as Breaking benjimen starts to play and blare. Sullivan is waiting in the gorilla position for the lyrics to hit before bursting out onto the stage. Fans are already responding in a harsh chorus of Cheers.*
Borderline, dead inside.
I don't mind, falling to pieces.
Coming in, violin, let's begin.
Feeding the sickness.
How do I simplify, dislocate, the enemy is on the way.
Show me what it's like to dream in black and white, so I can leave this world tonight.
*With the signal of the beginning lyrics Hunter storms out of his position, of course to a series of supporting chants and cheers. Hunter’s new artier showed off as he started moving his way across the stage. The green and purple lights reflected and caused glimmer on his body. A cool, calculating smirk seemed steady and planted on his face, an unnerving confidence, a form of malevolence shines through. The ramp was laid out before him, en route to his next victory, or possibly defeat. Hunter, however, feels no fear of defeat his mind clear, yet focused.*
Full of fear, everclear.
I'll be here, fighting forever.
Curious, venomous, you'll find me climbing to heaven.
Nevermind, turn back time.
You'll be fine, I will get left behind.
Show me what it's like to dream in black and white, so I can leave this world tonight.
*Sullivan walked calmly and professionally down the ramp. The steel ramp under Hunters feet reacted with a clank, none of which could be heard over the music and cheers in unison. Soon Sullivan found himself on the matting surrounding the ring. He reacted quickly, rolling into the ring and heading towards the turnbuckle that was closest. Soon climbing up it he merely looked around and reacted with a combined smile laugh.*
Hold me, I'm to tight.
Breathe the breath of life, so I can leave this world behind.
It only hurts just once.
They're only broken bones.
Hide the hate inside.
*The music died off and Sullivan dropped back to the mat, looking around the ring, making a few last moment warm-ups. Hunter was getting himself mentally ready as well, not sure how to approach Cyrus and his style.*
Here's the weight of the world on my shoulders....
I don't love how you love
but please don't leave me here alone
I don't feel how you feel
Well it's my fault I'm bones
The music paused for a moment then wheel of fireworks went off around the titantron followed by a huge explosion.
Cyrus appeared on stage as his theme. He started down the ramp as seven gold pyros went off on stage. He once again paid no attention to the fans in the arena, he simply just kept his eyes on his opponent. He rolled into the ring went straight to throwing hard rights at Hunter.
Sullivan was caught off gaurd with the premature attack. The bell hadn't even rung and was a fool to think that Cyrus would wait for the standard procedure. Not wanting to dissapoint his fans on his first returning one to one bout, manages a counter. At the fourth shot in Sullivan tosses up an arm, for block, quickly attempting to follow up with not a shot of his own, but a double legged take down.
Cyrus was caught by surprise by The Hunter's tactic and taken down.
Sullivan is a mat worker, bringing Cyrus to the mat definatly was to his advantage. Sullivan quickly attempted to take grip if the leg beside im and quickly drop an elbow or two. THe legged assault had begun.
Cyrus was hit with a few elbows, but he quickly tried to kick Sullivan with the other leg.
While on the vertical for his final elbow drop, Sullvan was booted backward towards the ropes. Rebounding slightly Sullivan backs away circling taunting the young man for his quick handed start, now wanting to start a lock up.
Cyrus got back to his feet and accepted the lock up.
With the lock up accepted Sullivan grins and quickly goes to show this youngster why he is as good as he is. As soon as the lock up connects Hunter attempts to break the lock on one arm and twirl. The twirl would bring the locked arm into an arm wrench, to where he could control some of the action. In the arm wrench Sullivan tried to drop toe hold the man to the matt where he could follow up into a hammerlock.
Cyrus was quickly grounded once again, but quickly tried to get out of Hunters grasp before he could get Cyrus into a Hammerlock.
Cyrus managed to escape his arm grasp, however, would not let him get off the ground, quickly attempting to move to a reverse waist lock. Again useing the hold to gain an advantage posisition. From here he'd trya nd pick him off the ground slightly and push him abck down, to floor him and knock away a defence. If that was successful He would shift around the body and move into a side headlock.
Cyrus was drived back into the ground and put in the side headlock, which was quickly getting on the nerves of new untamed side of Cyrus. He slowly tried to lift his arms up to Hunter's face to try to rake his eyes.
Sullivan finds himself falling victim to the heel tactic, quickly grabbing his watering eyes. The ref surely would have a few choice worlds over the manuveure.
Cyrus took this moment to get back to his feet, he ignored the ref ho was now shouting at him. He quickly ran towards the ropes and would try a double spring moonsault into the blinded Sullivan.
Sullivan had made his way to his feet wiping his eyes clean during the time. Sight returning to him last moment before meeting chest and chest with the arial move, bringing the man back down to the mat in perfect posistion for a pin.
Cyrus quickly got back to his feet to position himself right behind the downed Sullivan. The Lion would take this chance to try and take the Hunter out. As soon as Hunter would get to his feet Cyrus would lunge forward to attempt the Lion's Fury, a powerful superkick aimed directly for the throat.
Sullivan was dazed and made his way to his feet, making the turn to Cyrus the High power kick came soaring towards him. Quick reflexs help Hunter catch the kick before it could meet its deadly impact point. Now with foot in hand, the Viper could way in his attack. With a twirl Sullivan attempted to Dragon screw the leg and bring his opponent back to the matting.
Cyrus was tripped into the dragon screw, landing hard on the mat.
Hunter intended to Capitalize on the leg the best he could, attempting to weaken it down for later submissions. Sullivan, still with leg in hand attempted to weaken it further by makeing a slight dive over Cyrus's body an stretch the leg!
Pain shot through the high flyer's leg as it was being stretched out.
Sullivan smirked as he realized he was getting some nice good attacks in on the leg. Hunter moved around the downed opponent, and much like a Viper took aim at the hurt knee, attempting to lay ina few harsh stomps.
The stomps painfully hit Cyrus's knee.
After the stomps, a more sharp plan of action needed to be taken as Hunter attempted to grab the aimmed upon leg. When in grip Sullivan would trya nd turn it over in a single legged boston crab submission.
Cyrus was locked into the Boston Carb, but he quickly tried to inch his way toward the ropes.
Sullivan was backed up in the hold, stressing and trying to work the hold out as much he could befor finally being told to relinquish the hold due to a rope break. Hunter let out of the hold quick, but didn't want to let up on the leg, trying to grab it and haul the kid away from the ropes.
As Sullivan was dragging away from the ropes, Cyrus pushed himself up, backing up while lifting up a bit on his hands. He would try to spin around to try and hit Sullivan with a surprise enziguri.
Sullivan pulls on the leg as Cyrus made his way to a vertical, thinking he'd follow up with a simple leg elbow, but plans change. The enzuguri kick nailed hard and sweet across the face. The leg was released, Sullivan however, never fell and wobbled around of his feet dazed and confused.
Cyrus took this chance to roll out of the ring and inspect the condition of his leg.
Cyrus had clearly mad an error not choosing to follow up and knock Sullivan down before makeing his retreat. Stumbling into the ropes Hunter was able to shake himself out of his on feet mental knock out. Eyeing his opponent ont he outside, Sullican sorta smirked running to the ropes and returning attempting to fly overhead with a barrel roll Cross body. The Dream would surely get his workout this night. (just a cross body with a twirl in it.)
Cyrus quickly rolled out of the way of the oncoming Sullivan.
Sullivans eyes became awe strucken as he twirls uncontrolable to his doomed landing. Hitting side first Sullivan rolls towards the steel barricade, holding his shoulder after impact.
Cyrus walked over to Sullivan and grabs hold of the steel barricade to try and stomp a mudhole in Sullivan.
Hunter could put up little defence as he found himself rapidly stompted against the steel barricade.
Cyrus would go for one last kick to hunter before rolling back into the ring.
After the last kick, SUllivan tried to get himself to his feet. wanting to also get in the ring before the ring count out took effect in the match.
Cyrus waited patiently for Sullivan to get into the ring and back to his feet.
Sullivan makes it back to the ring on time, moveing then to his feet apperciating his opponent avoiding cheap shots. Something he doubts he, himself, would have done. Sullivan starts to circle around the ring, he as gotten good Leg blows in, and at this point in the match it was time to take advantage of them.
Cyrus backed up a bit towards the ropes as Sullivan started circling the ring.
Sullivan circled aswell, wishing to begin another lock up process.
Cyrus accepted the lock up, hoping to this time try and force his opponent into a side headlock.
Hunter was brought into the side headlock, but attempted to bring the two men abck into the ropes. There he would attempt to rebound and use the momentume to send Cyrus across the ring in an irish whip.
Cyrus was whipped across the ring with Irish whip. He hit the ropes and was on his way back.
Hunter met the man center ring attempting to naila tilt-a-whirl back breaker!
Cyrus was hit with the Tilt-A-Whirl back breaker.
When the Move hit Sullivan attempted to push down on the upper and lower body. He was trying to place a a back breaker submission in to work on the lower back.
Cyrus quickly tried to struggle out Sullivan's grasp before the submission was fully locked in.
Hunter struggled back, but was at the disadvantage in posistion, thus Cyrus managed his escape. Even if Cyrus escaper this hold Sullivan tried to follow up and lock in a single legged boston crab.
The Arena lights dimmed slightly
[DC]
Showed up on the black titantron, with the white letters, almost like the shoe logo, or what was used for the comic books, with it came the laughter of clowns....
Vulture taunted Sullivan, but didn't appear to be any where near by.
Cyrus was forced into the single legged Boston crab. Cyrus tried desperately to hang on, trying to passably get to the ropes.
Sullivan realeased the hold moving to the ropes infront of the ramp, watching intently for vulture to possibly make a stand,
As Sullivan was distracted, Cyrus took this golden moment to get back to his and would wait for Sullivan to turn around to try and hit him with a Lion's Fury.
Hunter turned around after finding himself confortable with the idea Vulture was not to be involved. Upon turning around however he finds himself rocked and floored with Cyrus' Lion's furry.
Cyrus drops to a knee to go for the pin.
The ref dropped making the three count on the fallen Sullivan. One, two, THree. the ref moves back to his feet and signals for the bell, Vulture had screwed Hunter out of his match!
Cyrus got back to his feet as his theme once again played through the area, with boos coming from the crowd Cyrus rolled out of the ring and made his way up the ramp.
