Itomaru: *watching from in a tree*
Zinnia: *wanders into the clearing*
Itomaru: *looks over at Zinnia and smiles*
Zinnia: *senses herself being watched and looks around, spotting Itomaru* Hello! ^^ *wanders over* Out enjoying the springtime?
Itomaru: Good evening milady. *jumps down and next to her* Yes I am, and also the little time I have until I am made a grandfather once more. *sighs before looking up and putting on a tired smile*
Zinnia: *smiles back* Well, at least you get more time this time around than last time. ^^ Last time it was so fast. @_@
Itomaru: *nods* Much too fast, though I'm happy to say at least both of them have seemed to find someone they really care about. Almost all of the kids have actually, except Dorian. *sighs* Before you know it, we'll be great-grandparents, and then great-great grantparents.
Zinnia: I have to admit, the idea of being a great-great grandparent makes me feel a bit old. XD I don't mind if our children and our children's children find love. I just hope they take their time about it, and don't rush things or get their hearts broken.
Itomaru: *raises a brow* Just a bit? *stretches* Well, I wish they would take all the time in the world. *lays down* It's awfully quiet without the little buggers (XD pun) though, I have to admit.
Zinnia: It is pretty quiet without them. Once you get used to the noise, it's strange to have it disappear. Not bad, just strange.
Itomaru: *nods* Yes, quite strange.
Zinnia: *smiles and wonders if someday the noise will return to their treehouse* So how do you think Yakir will fare as a father?
Itomaru: He was always a patient boy, I think he shall be quite good with it.
Zinnia: *nods* Me too. ^^ I wonder what the kids will be like.
Itomaru: *thinks of one like a hampster with fangs* ... *bites his lip to keep from laughing*
Zinnia: *nudges Itomaru* You thought of something funny, now didn't you?
Itomaru: *nods while holding in his laugh*
Zinnia: *smiles* Well, I'm sure they'll be cute. ^^
Itomaru: *coughs and gets rid of his laughter that way* Y-yeah.
Zinnia: And hopefully we'll get to see them somewhat often. ^^
Itomaru: *nods* That would be nice*
Zinnia: *nods* Mhm. Yes it would. ^^
Itomaru: So is there anything you would like to do today, milady?
Zinnia: Hmm...want to go to the beach?
Itomaru: *stands and stretches again* That sounds lovely.
Zinnia: *stands up* Okay then, off to the beach we go~ ^^
Itomaru: *nods and starts walking that way*
Zinnia: *walks alongside Itomaru*
Itomaru: *still walking and stuff*
Zinnia: *picks up the scent of the seawater* I think we're almost there
Iotmaru: *nods* I think so too
Zinnia: *arrives at the beach* We're here. ^^ *takes in a deep breath of the salty air*
Itomaru: *stretches* I already have a feel of nostalgia and we just arrived.
Zinnia: *smiles* Nostalgia's a good thing.
Itomaru: Yes it is. *smiles*
Zinnia: Let's go for a walk and see if we can find anything intersting.
Itomaru: Let's.
Zinnia: *looks between the two directions the beach stretches out in* Hmm...that way. *heads off toward the right*
Itomaru: *walks after her*
Zinnia: *looking along the shore for seashells*
Itomaru: *glances down and looks for some as well*
Zinnia: *blinks* Hey, a jellyfish. *points at a washed up mound of clear substance, aka, a jellyfish*
Itomaru: *blinks and makes sure to step around the mound he wouldn't have noticed*
Zinnia: I wonder how often they wash up onto the shore.
Itomaru: Hopefully not too often. *glances down and sees a shell sticking out of the sand*
Zinnia: See something? *looks down and sees the shell too* Oh, it's a sea shell. =D
Itomaru: *picks it up and dusts it off before holding it out to her* ^^
Zinnia: Thank you. ^^ *takes the shell and looks at it in more detail* Did you know that the purple part of the shell used to be used as currency? I read that somewhere
Itomaru: It did? Well that's interesting.
Zinina: *nods* Yep. ^^ *walks along*
Itomaru: *follows behind again* Can you hear the ocean in it? I hear some chells do that.
Zinnia: *puts it up to her ear* Hmmm...not the right kind of shell for that, unfortuntately.
Itomaru: That's a shame.
Zinnia: Maybe we'll find one of those types of shells. ^^
Itomaru: *perks up* I hope so
Zinnia: Me too. ^^ *continues walking*
Itomaru: *scanning the ground for shells*
Zinnia: *points* Hey, a starfish. =D
Itomaru> *looks at the starfish* Is that living? o.o;
Zinnia: *pokes it* Yep. Kind of dried out though. I think it wants to return home. *looks out at the sea*
Itomaru: Oh... *looks from starfish to sea* ... *picks up the starfish and puts it in the sea*
Zinnia: *waves goodbye to the starfish* Hopefully it doesn't wash back up again. ^^ *continues on her way*
Itomaru: I hope so as well. *follows again*
Zinnia: *looking around for something interesting, letting the cool water run over her paws*
Itomaru: *watches Zinnia, thinking she looks very pretty in the water and moonlight*
Zinnia: *smiling, enjoying the water, and spots a cool looking shell* Hey! I think that's one of the shells that you can hear the ocean in. =D
Itomaru: *walks closer* Did you?
Zinnia: *nods and picks it up out of the water* Right here. *shows him*
Itomaru: *blinks* Can you really hear the ocean out of that?
Zinnia: Yeah, it's one of those curled shells. It picks up on the air. It'll probably only sound like the ocean here at the beach though. XD
Itomaru: Oh, right... ^^;
Zinnia: *offers it over* Want to listen?
Itomaru: Well since you've offered, sure. *takes it and puts it to his ear*
Zinnia: Hear anything?
