Football players have their credits covered from football
but everyone else to take gym

Our school doesn't count marching band as a gym credit, but they really should. I've worked a LOT harder in marching band then I did in the two years that I had to take gym. Heck, one marching band PRACTICE is more exhausting for us then a semester of gym. ><

At my...high schools(?), you have to fill out a bunch of paperwork and compose an essay to APPLY to get the credit excused. However, there is still a required personal fitness class to graduate. The credit you get from marching band just excuses you from the required elective PE class. Most people just don't bother. I wouldn't because I'm in pit. What would I write in my essay? "Dur, well, I push a marimba around and it gets heavy and it done make me hurt tryin' to steer it, uhur." Yeah, not so much...
It really stinks that most people don't even have the option.

its not at my school and i really think it should, we work just as hard as the football players

It is at my school. We're lucky, because we have a lot of fat guys.
