Despite himself, S'van smiled. "Nothing, apparently. Nothing out of the ordinary." Not for her, anyway. Cracking jokes and being ridiculous seemed to be Nan's way of charming him. It probably worked on others, too. ... Wait, were they really jokes? He couldn't be so sure. "Careful, Nan. You know what they say. If you feed it it'll follow you home. You sure you want to feed my ego?" Teasingly, he reached out and chucked her under the chin, Galliath watching with a curious fascination. Are you sure she is not your mate? Naturally, S'van was pretty sure, but that didn't stop him from stealing a hug from the girl in question.

Aaaw there was a smile! One point for the Infamous Nose! She beamed back at him, clearly very pleased with herself. Nandeli always triumphed in the end, and S'van was no exception. All it took, apparently, was a few well-placed jokes about his sexual tendencies and a comment here and there about how absolutely adorable he was. I mean, how ruggedly handsome he was. Yes.
She answered his hug with one of her own, wrapping her arms loosely around his neck. "I dunno, your ego looks like it could use a few morsels. Can't say I'd mind having a er… ruggedly handsome dragonrider follow me home." Laughing, she pulled back, and then waggled a finger at him. "See, you can be happy! I knew you had it in you! I should get off to the Hatching Feast though." Think of all the delicious drama that was going on without her! "You should come. Just don't forget to smile!"
Wiggling her fingers at him in goodbye, Nandeli tossed her curls over her shoulders and trotted off down the tunnels to the Hatching Feast. Mission to cheer S'van up? Success!
