((oh, it's fine. I prefer to play it as if there are no details until someone fills em in :3 like, Vince could be one fo Jericho's ex's...all depends on when the oppurtunity comes up and who says it first >3 so if a detail is unsaid, FILL IT IN :'D ))
"Oh, were you telling the one about him in the tree?" Vince asked, chuckling. "Well don't worry, Roarke, I got one 'bout Az here for ya."
Vince placed the microwave on the table, then opened it up and pulled out an old leatherbound volume.
"Why were you carrying your diary in the microwave?" Azalaea asked curiously, but knowing the response already.
"Because I couldn't carry this thing and the safe at the same time," he said, "I only have so many hands!"
He licked his thumb and began to leaf through the pages.
"Why not put it in your pocket?" Azalaea asked.
"Hm? Oh, no, I couldn't put it in my pockets!" he said quickly, "They're much too full of important...Things...And...Stuff." He patted one in an attempt to prove his point.
"They're completely empty, aren't they," Azalaea said flatly.
"Not even some lint," Vince said. "And I know, I've checked...Ah!" he exclaimed. "Here we go! Az was wanting to cook again, so I told her that whatever she made she had to eat. She took out a couple steaks and some onions, set them all to cook, and nearly forgot about them! The steaks were okay, though a little charred on the edges. The onions, however," Azalaea groaned. "Were nearly all black!" Vince finished off.
"Hey, I ate them all and the onions were good, you said so yourself!" Azalaea retorted.

Roarke's mouth twitched in amusement.
"I take it then that cooking isn't your forte," he said before bursting out laughing.
"I'm just amazed that you actually ate it all!" exclaimed Jericho, laughingly.
"I'm hopeless at cooking, Roarke usually takes care of it. It's lucky that his repertoire includes things other than toast and various means of cooking eggs - otherwise we would of starved long ago!"
"Perhaps Roarke and you could work together and cook dinner tonight?" She suggested slyly, winking at Roarke.
"How about it, Vance? If it's a disaster, we'll just order out."
Roarke stared at Jericho, completely taken by surprise by her sudden suggestion.

Vince shrugged and hopped to his feet. "Sure thing! But you gotta fix that toaster of mine! It's not poppin' popcorn like it used to anymore...And the grill is outta gas!" he said, moaning in sarcastic agony.
Azalaea rolled her eyes, saying, "You like it better over an open fire anyway." She turned to Jericho. "And I made him eat at least one onion...Besides, I like my food a little crunchy sometimes," she said indignantly.
Vince glanced at Roarke, disregarding Azalaea. "So where's the ingredients?" he asked nonchalantly.

((Out of curiousity, which do you think I should open first? Customs, breedings or familiars? The only two I can really do is normal customs and breedings.. >>;; But if I don't get familiars up soon, alot of certs will be updated.. Aw, heck.. I wanna see Azalaea and Roarke's babies. xDD ))
"Oh, I'm glad you made him eat one, he deserves it!" exclaimed Jericho. "Although, perhaps I remember this wrong, Vince wasn't too flash in the kitchen either," she said with a wink at Azalaea.
Roarke cut in quickly.
"Did you remember to get everything at the market? Everything I put on the list? Last time you went there you got everything but what we were going to have for dinner that night!"
Jericho looked sheepishly at Roarke.
"Hey.. That was only once!"
"Once? Oh, you mean once this month. Right."
Jericho glared at Roarke, her arms folded across her work apron.
"I'll have you know that I did buy everything at the market! Now.." She paused wickedly. "I'm sure you're impatient to show off to Azalaea, and woo her with your delightful cookery, so I better leave you too it."
"Uh.. " Roarke said awkwardly. "Azalaea.. The kitchen is this way, it's in the back of the house."
((I'm sorry, but I'm kind of interested to see if either Roarke and Azalaea in the kitchen bring up breeding or Jericho and Vince. >3>;; ))

Vince started to object, that he wanted to join in the cooking, but then realized what Jericho was doing. He sat back down and gave them a little wave. "Bye now, try not to get into too much trouble!" He gave Azalaea a conspiratorial wink.
Azalaea blushed deeply but didn't say anything. Instead she simply turned and followed Roarke into the kitchen.
Once they were alone, Azalaea looked at Roarke. "So..." She began. But she couldn't find the right words to continue. Suddenly, she heard a voice ring out from the main room. "Az, me 'n' Jericho are steppin out for a bit!" Vince paused, then added jokingly, "You'd better have some buns in the oven by the time we get back!" Azalaea could hear Vince laughing as he dragged Jericho out of the house, and felt an even deeper blush come to her face.
She looked at her feet, mumbling to herself.
