AxeFalador Miya12 i always thought that amy rose looked better in the english 'sonic the comic's than when they changed her spikes for the games. amy still anoys me though. so why'd she want to be older, was she just a kid or something when she first came in to the series? and what heppened between sonic and sally, coz at the end of the SatAm series they'd finaly goten together Sally was chosen to be the heir to the throne after her brother, Elias, declined and ran away. Sally decided it was time to find a husband to rule beside her as King. However, Sonic refused to give up his life of adventure for the throne! Sally, of course, was none too happy, and got totally ticked off at Sonic and even told him off. She still loves Sonic, deep down inside, and worries about him every time he goes on an adventure. But she's upset at him because he doesn't want to become her King. does her brother look anything like her?

He started off with a long tail, like King Max's, but it mysteriously turned into a stub like Sally's after a few issues. A pity, I thought - since Sally aand Elias were supposed to be crossbreeds originally, it seemed like a nice touch. Plus, a big plume like that looked a lot more regal. smile If you go to somewhere like here and look in the comic scans section, you should be able to find some pics of him - and maybe his new family (Meg and baby Alexis), too. Yes, she was only ten. And she wanted to be a Freedom Fighter, but everyone kept saying that she was too young and - unlike Tails, who was the same age - immature. So, in a DAZZLING display of maturity, she stole a magic artefact that everyone thought was the last chance to save Sally and Elias' mother's life, and used its last powers to turn herself into a fourteen year old. Who still, of course, thought like a ten year old, so it was a waste of her time. Sally's pretty cool, I dislike how people diss her like they do just because she isn't an official Sega character. Not one of my favs, but she's still pretty cool. It also seems as if Archie's shaping up on her attitude as well in the newer comics, they're making her a lot more mature then before.

I really dislike Sally, alot.. a ton, almost as much as I dislike Rouge. But..
I do hope Sally, despite being a non-canon character, does find her way into the official Sonic Team world,

Rouge already has the "strong woman" role, and she wouldn't exactly make a convincing damsel in distress, even if her in the background would be what we wanted. The Sonic canon's got a lot more girls these days, and a few less stereotypes available to fill.

Yes, but that's not exactly Sally, and never has been. I've stated this hypotethesis a few times - although I'll repeat it in this context if you like.
She has Tails' tech whizzery, Amy's love interest qualities and Rouge's body. That very normality - as with Sonic - would possibly make her bland in something as dynamic as a game context, whwere everyone else may have multiple, very exceptional abilities.

AxeFalador I suppose my love for Sally and the other Archie series characters comes from the fact that I've been collecting the comic books since I was 8 or 9 years old. I'm 22, now. I still recall when Sally had pink fur and black hair. The writers later made an excuse that Sally into a vat of chemicals during one mission, and it altered her colour, and it took a few years for her to return to normal colour. Truth being, they simply didn't have the required colours at hand, for the longest time, to colour Sally in the right colours. rofl Hmm... I'm curious to go look at my collection to see what issue they began colouring her properly, again... brb! xp I remember that. I was only about 8 when I got into the comics( almost 18 now) An older cousin let me see his collection and I remember noticing the change. I was a kid and played it off as nothing but if I was 17 then I would have been just a little anoyed. but then they have changed and added things to the Sonic history over the years that I kinda expect it. as for Sally, I love her. I watched the SatAM show and collected the comics. She is a really good balance for Sonic. The show had mesmerizing plots( that didn't really feature my fav char. Tails butI still love it.) Sally is strong and insightfull. for the longest time I didn't like the new amy model because I liked her as a kid. In the comics I could never see Sonic with Amy or Mina or Fiona for very long. Sally and him are made for eachother and my never really get together in the comic because it cant be good for a comic book kids hero to get married butI know they will be toghter in the end. (maby the last issue will be their real wedding)

Sally was a great character in the series. I think the series got cancelled cause of ratings.
