G-Unit~gal ok I am 14 years old and truth be told...I've never had a bf. I have glasses brown hair and Im not bragging but I think that I have a pretty face but people at my school are telling me that I am really ugly. Everybody I know has a bf and its not that im desperate or jealous or anything its just that I think I am really ugly
advice please At 14, you could be the prettiest girl in town and someone would probably call you ugly just to try to make you feel bad. It's a standard problem in junior high and high school. Never had a BF? Do you have friends who are boys? How do you treat the boys you know? Have you ever flirted with any of them or let them know you're interested. Maybe the guys you're around are shy or waiting for some signal from you before they take a chance on getting rejected. Even if you aren't pretty in the majority's way, someone probably will find you attractive. I'm guessing you look a lot like your parents... most people do. It's genetic. Your parents found each other attractive. And if they found someone, looking like you do, it must be possible. smile

I still don't have a boyfriend and I'm nearly 13 so that's alrite I guess... But ppl hu call you ugly are probably ugly themselves and they're just jealous of you.... So the next time they call you ugly, say 2 word to them: ******** off!

I didn't have a BF until I was NINETEEN. XD; Oh, and everyone seems to look their worst at your age. Seriously, I was a chubby, greasy, fluffy-haired little 14-year-old. Ugh. But it definately got better when all that puberty nonsense calmed down. :3 Don't worry, things can only get better. mrgreen

You need some self esteem, badly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Guys nowadays, especially at school age, are hung up on the popular girls that are popular because they're easy and generally have loose morals, and wear the tight shirts and short skirts. Just because no one likes you now (and I'm sure you don't know that for a fact), there will people not so hung up on themselves and/or social status, and they're more worth having than the guys that ARE hung up on social status and the so called "hot girls".

Exactly! The popular girls probably don't even look that good.

Ahh its the same thing with me.I mean i dont think im really really ugly and ive never had a gf either. But ive noticed girls look at me differently now and for a very long time for some reason. So when a girl stares at me im thinking she must think im good looking for something. And most of them are pretty girls that look at me.But dont think your ugly cause i dont anymore and everyone has one special thing about them and how they look!
