Moonlight Solstice Well, if it's Asian food...I guess chopsticks. When it's food like Southern, Italian, English, etc.....then mostly fork.

Well, I mostly use chopsticks. My mom almost always cooks Chinese food, but I can use the fork I use forks when there aren't any chopsticks. Spoons are for soups+cereals only, if there is veggies or meat in the soup, I use chopsticks as well. Sporks are for school. (Yes, I eat school lunch. Yes, I'm still alive.)

Ayaji It really depends what I am eating. I went through a phase where I ate everything with chopsticks so that my chopstick skills would improve. Cheerios are rather difficult. Applesauce and ice cream are just plain silly to eat with chopsticks, but I've done it...
These days I use a fork more often because I keep losing my chopsticks. There are also more forks available than chopsticks, so I don't have to do dishes as often^^; I need to buy more pairs of chopsticks though. It's hard to find pairs I like that will last. Most places here in the US sell cheap pairs where the paint wears off or the laminate starts chipping. I do a have a nice bamboo pair though. I've forgotten where I got them. This is more or less my situation as well, in a nutshell. xd

Chopsticks for noodle soup (doesn't matter if it's Spaghetti, Pho, or ramen or...) and rice w/ its side dishes. Spoon for soup and cereal. Fork and knife for steak. ...I think I only use fork whenever I have steak. xd
You know how there's a screw that keeps the scissor's blades together? You want to focus mainly on controlling the chopstick in that area (somewhere near the center), that's how I see it working. I use my pointing finger, middle finger, and my dumb to hold the two chopsticks together. My ring finger and my dumb moves one of the chopsticks back and forth to grab the food. My ring finger does most of the moving/force, but my dumb/middle/pointing fingers does the grip.
Ever tried using two writing tools in one hand? I tried it before with a led pencil and an eraser stick. I think you'll get a hang of it once you get used to switching from one tool to the other with that writing hand (don't use two hands).
-offtopic- Odd, why is this thread showing up when today's near the end of Nov, while the last post is Oct 15?
-edits- More strangeness. Looks like Gaia's forums' glitching up in the post order.
