For those who can't see the Japanese characters ((I'm still figuring out how to type them XP)) here is a link to let you see them:

download it and you will see. It isn't a huge file, I know this because my computer sucks and it's still alive ^^.

To type in Japanese...

1. Go to Control Panel (you might be able to find it in the Start menu under "Settings", I think)
2. Go to Regional and Language Options
3. Go to [Keyboards and Languages] tab
4. Click [Change keyboards...]
5. Click [Add...]
6. Find "Japanese" and check off "Japanese" and "Microsoft IME" (or something similar...?)
7. Click [OK]

You should have an "EN" next to your system tray now - that's "English keyboard". If it isn't there, look for the [Language Bar] tab in that "Change keyboards" window - you can change settings there.
Click it (the "EN") and choose "JP" for the Japanese keyboard. If you want to use it on MSN or in Firefox or something, close those things before using the Japanese keyboard (just the first time). Next to the "JP", you can choose hiragana, katakana, etc.

When typing, press the space bar to convert your text to kanji (while the kana is underlined). Press the enter key to make it stop underlining what you're writing (i.e. just leave it as kana).

I couldn't find Japanese either.... sweatdrop
