im always having trouble with jinzo. what trap cards work on him. couse i still think a trap hole can do it. even a torrentual tribute, or a divine wrath should be able to bring him down.

Jinzo has a continuous effect and once this effect is active no Trap Cards can be activated. So here's how to see what will work. 1. Continuous Effects are activate the moment the monster is successfully summoned. So you need to activate a Trap before then. 2. The only cards that can be activated before a monster is successfully summoned are cards that negate the summon, such as Solemn Judgement and Royal Oppression.
Trap Hole and Torrential Tribute can only be activated after a monster is successfully summoned so they cannot be activated. Divine Wrath cannot be used against Continuous Effects.

i know where your comming from i too hate jinzo so i put cards in my deck to destroy him and other cards like DUBBLE SNARE:select 1 card on the feild thathas the negates trap cards and destroy it or use the magic card combo of BOOK OF MOON: flip 1 face up monster on the feild into face down deffence position and NOBLEMAN of CROSSOUT: destroy 1 face down monster and remove it from play if the monster is a flip effect both players check their decks and reamove all monsters of the same name from play. then shuffle the decks
these are helpful i thought dubble snare was useless till i read it more clearly LMAO

Solemn Judgment, Forced Back, The Selection, and Horn of Heaven are among the few traps that can stop Jinzo, though each has a drawback.
Solemn Judgment requires you to cut your Life Points in half.
Forced Back only bounces the monster back to your opponent's hand, so it won't work effectively every time.
The Selection requires another monster of the same type on the field, so there would need to be another machine-type monster on the field for it to work.
Horn of Heaven requires you to tribute one of your own monsters to negate a summoning.
There may be a few others other than that which can negate the summoning, but those are the most commonly used, at least to my knowledge.
Also, the reason Jinzo doesn't work on any of these traps is that, because they negate the summoning, Jinzo does not get special summoned successfully and therefore, never hits the field long enough for its continuous effect to kick in. Be warned, however, that if he does hit the field successfully, the above traps will be rendered useless, so beware.

jinzo is not a big problem if you dont allow it to hit the field, a solemn judgement or forced back will work fine

Exiled force,DAD,tribute to the doomed..
so many ways to reck jinzo... doesnt mean you shouldnt run it though.. i still randomly throw it in a few decks just to let my opponent waste cards on it.. and or also give my other creatures a direct shot to my foes field without much hesitation

well when I'm using my Mixed deck I don't really care if Jinzo hits the field cause either way he's going to hell my deck runs an awful lot of removal and destroy effect to bring him and any other card down to it's knees quickly and make sure he doesn't come back....
