" Can't say that I have, Laurus. " Savannah didn't like bugs or creepy crawlies of any kind. They were nasty little things that slithered up your legs when you slept. She shivered on impulse and after a minutes worth of preparation, smiled. "I'll help you find one, though. Dragonflys can be pretty easy to spot if you know what your looking for, right?"
The little dragon pressed her nostrils as close to the ground as possible, thankful that she didn't have that funny horn her family had, and started searching. Her blue eyes scanned over the ground, rump shaking back and forth in the air. Laurus wants a dragonfly, so I'll find one for him! I can pay him back for helping me. Yes, that was brilliant plan indeed. He'll be so happy then.

"Right," Laurus smiled agreeably. He tried not to laugh as she went about searching, averting - and rolling - his eyes as her tail swung back and forth along with the rest of her lower body. Girls.
He set about looking for dragonfly's himself, lowering his body to the ground and moving slowly, carefully, trying not to scare away any dragonflies that may be nearby.
This really would be a good educational experience for Savannah. He could show her the wings, and the other little things he'd noticed-- She'd probably get a bit distracted by the vivid colors, but that was no doubt to be expected from someone with her... personality.

(We can maybe wrap this one up and do another one when their older? 83)
Savannah roamed across the ground like a hawk searching for a meal. Her tongue was tongue hung out of the left side of her mouth while she worked. Then, she saw it.
A most delicous shade of green with wings longer than she'd ever seen on a bug described a dragonfly perched on the bushes before her. Savannah checked over her shoulder, but seeing that Laurus wasn't following her, decided that she could get it herself. Slowly, though very difficulty with her paw shaking in tune to the furious beating of her heart, the little dragon placed her paw over the lower region of the insect.
It squirmed, but was secured in place. "Laurus, Laurus! Come see what I got!"
She was smiling brightly now, looking around at him with her rump wagging happily. The little lime green stripe of her right eye covered the blue orb completely, giving her a slightly disheveled look, but she was adorable none the less.

((YESH. 4laugh Watching Laurus have a crush will be fun. rofl ))
"Laurus! Laurus! Come see what I got!"
Laurus turned and hurried over to his new companion. A magnificent specimen, trapped under her paw. How had she managed to keep it from escaping? Laurus had tried to capture one time and time again, but his paws weren't quick enough, and they always flew off before he'd seen his fill of their elegent structure. How had this little... Ball of fidgets managed to stop it?
"Careful," he told her gently, leaning closer. An intent, broad smile washed across his face as he examined the insect. "Look how the wings attach to the body," he pointed out excitedly.
It really was a beautiful specimen... Laurus's gaze drifted to Savannah's paw, and then up her foreleg, eventually reaching her face... This little dragon was odd... But... She was also... beautiful. Like a little seed or a vivid dragonfly... She was...
"Very nice, Princess," Laurus chuckled as he turned his gaze back to the insect.

( Uber late reply! D8 )
Savannah let up on her hold as soon as he told her to be careful and maneuvered out of the way so he could look as well. She had to admit that looking at it was fascinating and seeing the wings made her a bit envious. Compared to her family, she was so plain, but with wings.... Turning to Laurus and all his excited glory, she shook her head silently and went back to the dragonfly.
Plain was fine, as long as Laurus was plain as well.
Blushing, she hid her eyes with the bits of mane dangling around her horns and reached over to rub up against him. "Your very welcome, Sir Knight. Now, lets see what else we can catch!"

((Oh, that's fine. ^^))
"Oh...Kay. Okay." Laurus edged to the side a bit awkwardly. "Um... Maybe we could go see if we can catch a fish... I noticed a specific kind a few days ago that was really interesting looking... But I wasn't quick enough to get one..."
He glanced sideways at Savannah. Absent-mindedly, he used the tip of his tail to brush the tiny strands of her mane out of her eyes. He let his tail drop suddenly, blushing... And then he hurried toward the river.
"Uh, it's... It's this way," he stammered as he walked away, glancing backward at every step to make sure the Princess was following him...
