Hot damn, last night's Mythbusters was INCREDIBLE. Lots of vehicular demolition, and in seriously epic ways. They did a bunch of movie-style car crashes, like through a fruit stand and a wire fence and a trailer. And they shaved the top off of a car with the trailer of a semi truck. And they did that scene from Speed where Keanu Reeves tells everyone to go one one side of the bus and makes a screaming turn. And then they did everything in their power to MAKE THE BUS FLIP OVER. They shot a 1-inch thick steel plate at a compact car backed against another inch-thick steel plate... WITH ROCKETS. AT THE SPEED OF SOUND. And then Kari, Grant, and Tori did this amazingly complex stunt from a commercial where they had one car dropped 4,000 feet from a helicopter RACING against another car going top speed, to see which one would hit the X first. OH MY GOD IT WAS INTEEEEEEENSE. I LOVED IT. heart
