And I don't mean stuff like games that teach you Japanese. I mean games in Japanese, simply made for entertainment.

So far I have found a few on the internet (some which are for educating youngin's, though) although I can't remember the URLs at the moment. Also Sonic Adventure 2 (the one where you can play as the Heros or the Villains, and Eggman blows off part of the moon) has the option of changing languages. So if you have it, switch the voice and text to japanese, and then play emerald hunting. (1 or 2 player is fine.) I play it with my sister, and it's fairly even ground until... we start getting hints. Then whoever knows the most japanese prevails! biggrin It's fun because it's just a normal game, and also it helps you practice your skills in both regular comprehension and basic kanji/kana recognition.
What else have you guys found helpful and fun? Computer games, online games, and video games for multiple consoles are fine.

I WILL PLAY IT. eek

I played the link. It is actually pretty entertaining. xd

If anyone cares, I found the URL for the games I played...
...the only thing is that they're for kids and are educational. But they're in japanese so, yeah... you defeat enemies with your kiddie knowledge. (the math one can be REALLY easy, but you need to be able to read the instructions etc. The math one is also good for learning to use the number system)

Alright, sorry about double posting. But you can play the Professor Layton demos (in japanese) online. biggrin

http://www.layton.jp/

Click on either 「レイトン教授と不思議な町」 or 「レイトン教授と悪魔の箱」and there'll be a button with "WEB" in big letters. Click that to play the demo.

Pokemon...you still need good grammar and a dictionary though(if you're a beginner). As far as RPGs go, I don't think it gets any simpler ^_^
