April 2 soccermaggot, Team Pancreatic I did the best I could. I wish there were purple daffodils.  The Master Moo, Team Prostate  dragonmonkey, Team Childhood  Total Value: Gold Not sure if you need the items listed or not. But I kept the Total Value to just Gold on purpose for my team color is gold. XP I don't have a story that goes with why I chose each item. But the team I chose is for my childhood friend and her family. The anniversary of the death of child is April 6th. So in loving memory of Erica. She loved to pet ants and loved her Puppy (a stuffed animal that looked like a dog) Sweet Lil Duckie, Team Childhood  This is my childhood avi. She is a little warrior angel. April 5 ShadowDomain, team Brain  ince so many people seem to have included a reason for their avi's I thought I should do so as well. My avi tells a rather personal story. When my grandfather was diagnosed with brain cancer it was already too late for anything to be done and their treatments back then were not as effective as they are now. He was only given a couple of months to live and although those who loved him were heartbroken, the one who suffered most was obviously him...because he suffered in silence. He was strong for his family and never showed fear or despair. This avi represents the silent suffering and fear he went through as the cancer took over, waiting for the inevitable. Knowing what he would leave behind and what was to come. Although there are many who undertake the fight against cancer and emerge with a victory, there are millions who don't. This avi is to represent the seriousness of cancer and what it can mean to those who have it. Miss Mangie, team Colon  Hola Mimiko, team Ovarian  Meant to be very symbolic; it resembles all of the children that can't be born because of ovarian cancer. I watched my father, who was a very strong person, change drastically during his battle, and it is the battle that I remember the most when I remember him during his illness. The maroon and white on my avatar represent the blood cells, as well as the myeloma colour. He is wearing a crown of thorns and his arm is bandaged to represent the pain he endures, but he is still strong and fighting to survive, so he is also wearing armour and holding a battleaxe. The flames are his anger. The white guardian represents hope - whether it is the hope to be protected in this world and survive, or hope that he will be protected in the next life. April 21 Roxy526, team Liver  Amora Nobis, team Pancreatic  Wood Sorrel, team Ovarian  Here's my entry for team Ovarian. Obviously, the teal is for the team. It's a dark teal because cancer is scary and full of unknowns. the headscarf is in place of the hair that falls out during treatment, and is what my mom wore during treatment. The tears are for all the suffering and death caused by cancer. The outfit is a period outfit, for my grandmother who died in 1960 from ovarian cancer. The bubbles represent all the eggs in the ovary that are affected and the birds represent children never born because the ovaries are removed. Megumi_is_me, team Lung
