One that may sound really silly and childish is minimoni, but the songs actually help me learn Japanese, since they are children songs,

Tougenkyou I believe you can find Japanese songs on playlist.com to listen to. Popular band, such as Asian Kung-Fu Generation, The Back Horn, Ikimono Gatari, L'Arc~en~Ciel, and so on; they have songs played in anime. So anime music is not only a good way to improve listening, it also usually isn't very different from "mainstream" songs. Also, highly recommended method for listening skills is watching Japanese television shows; via youtube perhaps. to add to this i reccomend you check out nico nico douga. its a japanese site that has tons of CRAZY videos. the majority in japanese. XD
