I believe in the paranormal.
I've seen a ghost, heard and felt them around me.
My house is well over a hundred years old, fairly large, etc. I actually think it would be odd for a house such as this to not be inhabited by lingering spirits.
I don't know if this crosses into religious beliefs, but I have living proof of reincarnation. I'd tell you, but my fingers are blue from the cold, so I shall wait until I've finished a cup of hot cocoa.

Im a strong believer in the paranormal but will always seek to find a scientific explanation if possible. However to limit science to the remits of already understood knowledge would be to prevent progress.

Well, for my own experience, although it doesn't happen too often, I will sometimes have a very clear insight into an upcoming event that I had no reason to know about. Such instances always seem to manifest in the form of an unsolicited comment or observation, typically unrelated to anything happening at the time. Shortly thereafter, however, an event will occur to which the statement I made is not only relevant, but meaningful. For instance, once when I was younger, I asked my mother out of the blue why she didn't park her car the other way round, explaining that she then wouldn't have to back out of the parking space. The next time she got in the car, it refused to drive in reverse. Another time I was visiting my girlfriend, whose mother (who didn't like visitors over) was not expected home for several hours. After being there for a while, I began to become increasingly agitated, remaining only at my GF's insistence that I had plenty of time. As you can imagine, her mother returned early, and only some fast-talk spared us both from hot water.

I, too, believe in the supernatural. One too many experiences, I suppose. Mostly with spiritual activity. I'm not for certain, but I'm starting to suspect that I was born with clairvoyance or some sort of ability to sense a spirit in some way or another. Whenever I've gone into a burial sight (a la graveyard or cemetery), I've sensed a few things. I'll feel an emotion out of the blue.

Now, something similar has happened when I've entered a church or temple, especially when a service is being held. I have felt something strong there, not nessecarily malevolent or benevolent, just strong. I'm not sure if this is the spiritual energy from those around me being radiated as they pray or give faith, or if it's actually some form of higher being making itself known.

That sounds oddly familiar to me. Though, I would say that at certain churches I have felt it more than at others. Whether that was because they had more faith or more basis for the same, I do not feel fit to judge. However, I would hazard to say that I know exactly what you're talking about.

I find this highly likely and I've experienced this (I believe it's God/the Holy Spirit). Some places you can just feel it and with some people that proclaim to have faith or what not just flat out don't have it. Yuuki Belmonte, your so lucky to be able to discern spiritual things naturally.

I believe in the paranormal and am not interested so much in seeing the ghosts as to finding out the cause, i.e. the history behind a place that made them stay where they are instead of crossing over. heart I have never stayed in a haunted house, I have never been in one, or had a paranormal experience, but I do believe they exist. 3nodding

I happen to believe in several spiritual aspects all around us that are unseen by the average eye.
Science tries to explain it, but they just can't : /

Ever seen those weird auras that seem to resonate from just about everything around you? Optical trick of your mind? I think not.

Also, I too, believe in the existence of spirits, be them malevolent or just a lonely soul...

I approach the paranormal with the same cynicism and at least partial belief in the scientific tenet that there are many explanations and the rational end of things must be investigated, if for curiosity' sake alone. Normally I reject reason...
