"thought what?" Suddenly she looked very confused as she stared at Kella, "im not sure i get what you mean?" suddenly she was starting to feel she had done something wrong. she almost wished she was somewhere else.
"i just said what i was thinking." she blinked her grip on Kir increased so that even he started to squiggle a bit.
"im sorry if i offended you in anyway way," she stood up almost as if to run away Kir still clutched to her chest.

Lehpas' heart leapt when the little brown turned to look at him. A silly little grin spread on his face.
Answering Kella's question, "No, I don't have one. I had no status at my hold. No one would have ever given me an egg."
Noticing the new tension around him, Lehpas suggested, "Maybe Riyinn just meant that you're entitled to your opinion. You did say that you can't stand them." Lehpas looked back and forth between the girls, wondering if this was going to turn into one of those rolling around in the dirt kind of squabbles his sisters sometimes had.

The young girl frowned as she listened to Riyinn's response, not at all satisfied with how she explained herself. but, with a sigh, Kella decided to just drop the matter. "It was just weird. I thought that exact thing, then you said it. Like you read my mind, or something," the little weyrbrat explained in a harsh voice, and then popped the remaining piece of fruit into her mouth. She looked to Lephas, and after he offered his two marks on the matter, she nodded in agreement. "I guess," she conceded defeat in the matter and let it go.
Kella glanced over her shoulder towards the kitchens, wondering just how much time she'd spent out here eating lunch. "I should probably get back to my chores," the girl said sadly, not at all wanting to leave the warmth of the sun to work in a sunless storeroom. "Thanks for keeping me company for lunch," Kella said and forced a small smile for her two companions.

Riyinn gulped then nodded, "it was nice to meet you." not fully sure if she had meant it this girl was far from others she had met. But she hated to be rude, "at least we weren't bored?" she finally asked in a rush then smiled after stroking Kirs head.
Kir thankful she finally stopped squeezing was stareing at Lehpas again with curious eyes.

"I suppose it's about time for me to get back to lessons too," said Lehpas. "It was nice to meet both of you. And especially you, little brown."

As soon as their good-byes were exchanged, and Kella's picnic basket was packed up, she stood. The girl motioned for them to do the same; she still had to fold the blanket they had all been sitting on! Then, once the blanket was folded and stacked atop the basket, Kella gave a little wave to both Riyinn and Lephas. She turned on her heels and moved back towards the kitchens, seemingly eager to return to her chores after that... less than peaceful lunch.
