To hit high notes, you have to tighten the corners of your mouth and blow faster air. The faster air will make you play louder, but with tight corners, you should go up pretty high.

faster air makes you play higher, more air makes you play louder, tight corners keeps the air from spilling out the sides of your mouth so that you can focus it.

Play a scale where the highest note is your best. Hold that note for a little while then go a step up. So with the F scale, it goes up to a G, then play an A. That's what my director tells everyone to do.

it always comes out completely airy. And I can usually play the F right below it but when I'm playing for too long I can't. All of my friends can play super super high and my best friend can play the G an octave above my struggle. Any tips?

what do you mean it hurts if it hurts because you're pushing hard then stop. you should not push until it hurts that will just cut off you sound. faster air makes a higher note a lot of air makes a louder note. ( most people just get louder when they try to play high because they just put in more air)

do some exercises and get warmed up first playing low notes makes it easier to play high notes because it loosens your lips up.

the way i hit high notes is with a whole lot of air! of course you will not be able to play them without the chops though. For me practicing is the only way to build your range and be able to play those high C's and E's above the staff! There are mouthpieces that help with high notes though!

if you just put in a lot of air when you play high it will be blasty and sound like crap
