Anise Murete Am I the only one that thinks that eithir Ville Valo or Gerard Way would make excellant Jean-Claudes? ninja ( heart )  Whomever that guy in the last picture is, is a** ugly, and would not make a good Jean Claude what-so-ever. But thats just my humble opinion. 4laugh

Mana_Whore Anise Murete Am I the only one that thinks that eithir Ville Valo or Gerard Way would make excellant Jean-Claudes? ninja ( heart ) Whomever that guy in the last picture is, is a** ugly, and would not make a good Jean Claude what-so-ever. But thats just my humble opinion. 4laugh
I despise Gerard, and his.. mannerisms, and it would be disappointing beyond redemption if he were to be cast as Jean-Claude. He doesn't suit the character, at all. -_-"

He just doesnt really belong in the AB:VH series I quite dissagree, i thought he would be perfect. i mean, JeanClaude is the elysium ideal of a man. you really can't find men in reality that look like that. thats why it is a story, i think he could match it very well. he is the closest thing here, I mena he has played arrogent old vamps before, he could so pull it off. Just look at Kirsten Dunst, when I heard they cast her as MJ parker, i was flipping out, i was so pissed they picked innocent little Kirsten for Firey, hotty Mary Jane. but if you watch the movies,a dn see her in the steamier scenes, she pulls it off with class. You ahve to look at the reality of what we ahve here, Books are made to give us the fantasy, it is always going to be hard to find the right person for the role, and no one is ever perfect, you are always just going to have to find someone that...well, just comes close.I think the one who is going to be hard to find, is Anita

I personally think he was the HUGEST flop in Queen of the Damned & I personally wouldnt want him ******** up Laurell K Hamiltons work. I dont think he has very good visual apeal nor acting apeal. But thats just my opinion. Im not saying AGREE WITH ME OR DIE. Im not that kinda person. Im just stating my opinion. Speaking of opinions- I bet they cast Hugh Jackman....Prolly as like Richard...

I actually think Stuart Townsend would do great in this movie, he played a decent Lestat in Queen of the Damned and a pretty good Dorian Grey in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [even though the movie kind of sucked]. He's good at this supernatural stuff.
Gerard Way is too ugly to play anyone in this movie. That and he's in a really emo band. I would cry tears of blood if he was cast as anything other than a troll. :[

I've searched Laurell K Hamiltons site Extensively and cannot find any info on her giving the rights up for a movie.
Either this was an elaborate hoax, or someone was misinformed.
I do know they have begun a Guilty Pleasures Comic though.

>_O How can you tell Townsends's any good? I mean, maybe he is, but both those movies he's been in sucked. (Okay, I haven't seen all of LoEG, and the parts I did see weren't bad, but QotD was horrid except for Half-naked!Townsend.) Not much to go on.
Heck, Gerard Way isn't even an actor. And personally, I don't want Gerard Way fangirls invading my fandom.
