"Yeah..." Jacoliia agreed nonchalantly. He agrees? But he probably doesn't know what you meant, Jackie. He probably just meant the rain... But she couldn't help but see that he looked away. Was he blushing? She couldn't tell for sure. The rain was starting to fall a bit harder, drenching everything in a soft haze.
Suddenly Jacoliia stumbled, and fell against Adair's side.
"Oh!" she yelped, trying to regain her footing, "S-sorry!"
But there was no time to be sorry, because Jacoliia was still falling, about an inch from sending Adair to the ground as well.
((GACK. Total cliche. XD 'girl trips and falls against her crush'. rolleyes I couldn't help it, SOMEONE needed to make a move, or this rp wouldn't be going anywhere. rofl ))

Adair looked up as the rain started to pour harder. He was distracted for a moment and couldn't help but to breathe in relief. It felt like he was holding in his breath forever. The coolness felt good in an odd way, and it gave him some time to clear his head.
Just as he was about to turn back to her and speak, Adair noticed she stumbled. At the last second he managed to catch her on her side, before she was on the ground ground. He layed in what was beginning to become mud, his tail curled around her middle helping to hold her up, though she was nearly laying on him. "No need to be sorry, I told you I'd catch you," Adair said kindly.
((I know I was thinking the same thing xD I was trying to think of something though. . .Adair's too much of a gentlemen and he isn't very clumsy))

Jacoliia stiffened as Adair caught her and wrapped his tail around her waist.
He's just helping you stay upright, she told herself quickly, trying not to over react (though HOW she would react she had no idea. Swoon and faint in his embrace? Slap him across the face? Run ashamedly into the woods?), Don't jump to any conclusions.... But oh, this feels so... RIGHT...
She was feeling a little queesy now... Get up, self. GET UP. Her legs were failing her. Her paws slipped in the growing accumulation of mud and she slipped a little closer to the ground... and to Adair.
"Sorry," she murmured, glancing away, "I-I guess I'm more tired than I thought..."

Adair's muscles tensed as he felt her stiffen. She might fall again, don't let go so soon. Make sure she has her feet first. He knew he was making excuses not to let her go. But it was the only ting he could do.
For some odd reason, the contact between them sent a shock through him. It felt good and Adair liked it. No! Don't even - you possibly can't. . .Oh just stop it. He was so confused in his jumbled thoughts as he told himself not to blush again. You could lose your footing and fall too! Stay focused.
Adair tried to stay calm, but that just urged him to be nervous as she fell closer to him. "I've got ya," he assured her, "There's no worries, can you walk?" He hesitated on the last part, not wanting to let her go. "If not, you can lean against me. I won't let you fall." He tried to sound more like a friend trying to help another friend, but he wasn't so sure it came out that way.

"Yeah... yeah, I think I can walk," Jacoliia nodded as she finally got a hold on the ground. Her mane brushed his face as she nodded. A tremor shot through her. She tried to ignore it.
She tried not to blush again at his last words. Was... there something more to them?

"Oh okay," Adair mummbled a little saddened. He quickly brightened up just as her mane brushed his face. She smelled sweet and beautiful, her mane had an aroma of fresh, spring flowers. Adair almost lost focus, but caught himself, as he let go of her slowly.
"You okay?" he asked. Adair thought she had been acting weird for some time, but ignored it most of the time and before he could stop, the words just seemed to tumble out. "I'm not. Have you ever thought of finding a mate? Please don't think rude of me, but I like you. . .A lot," the last words were less than a whisper. Adair hoped she hadn't caught them.
((I had to do something, or it might've gone on to a dead end sweatdrop ))

Does he sound... disappointed? Of course not... You're imagining it, Jackie.
Jacoliia sighed as his tail unwound from her waist. Dang. She wouldn't have minded staying the way they were before for another... eternity, or so?
She blinked in shock as Adair gave his speech.
"I- I-," Jacoliia blinked again, wide-eyed. "I had thought about it... but never expected to- to- I really like you, too!" Jacoliia once again found herself blurting out her thoughts. She cringed... then when she saw that he hadn't run off into the woods, she straightened again hesitently. "I... I like you a lot... and I think I want you to be my mate."
The rain was pouring down now, plastering Jackie's mane to her back as she waited tensely for Adair's reaction.

Adair heard her sigh, and thought she might've been a little disappointed. Maybe she was sighing in relief, because she can run off now after you just spilled your feeling out for her, he thought to himself a bit nervous.
He waited nervously as she spoke. Adair was caught off guard, but felt something lift in his heart. "I'd love to be your mate, and I want you to be mine," he surprised himself, because he sounded calm. His heart was pounding in his ears and he was nervous as heck, but soon enough he found himself again.
Adair moved closer to her and nuzzled her, before kissing her lightly on the cheek. He hoped that wasn't moving too fast, and took an inch-step back, waiting for her to say something.

He looks so calm, Jacoliia thought, encouraged by this. and... He wants me to be his mate!
She shivered as he kissed her on the cheek, rain drizzling down her back. She frowned when he moved away. No. I forbid you to stop kissing me, she thought to herself. She moved forward and kissed him back, right on the lips.
I love him, she thought to herself in wonder.
It was a good feeling.

Adair smiled warmly, kissing her back on the lips.
His heart was filled with love for her, and I shall never let this angel fly away.
Nothing else in the world felt more right than this.
