I'm almost speechless. I've never even heard that Interpol song, but it's so haunting, I love it.

Looks like this here: (YouTube link) is the short film in its 26 minute entirety, sans AMV format. I can't tell if the 26 minutes is the whole thing, or just the first of 4 episodes. Might find out if I stop typing and go watch it, eh?

The film style reminds me of Eastern Asian traditions of shadow puppetry. It's a captivating medium. It works so well with the machines and the moving parts.
I really enjoyed this story. I'm going to send it to a couple of my friends.

I fracking love this animation! I first found it almost by accident. I was bored in my dorm room, so i decided to look up steampunk videos on youtube, and i found this delightfuly morose short. ninja

Oh wow, I've never seen that before.
It's strange how the people are silhouettes while everything else is...well, animated. Yet it just fits. Lovely.
