It wasn't long until Elden slowed down to prepare for their descent. His wings weren't pushing against the ground as much, but rather tried to slowly make the two of them touch ground. A tail first touched the roof, making sure there was actually ground there first. Then came his back paws.

He gently released the teenage girl on the roof so she could find her footing first rather than face-plant on the surface.

"Here we are. That was not too bad now, was it?"
