Altos suck!!! Lolz!!!
Although... I'm only saying that because one of the altos in our band keeps saying that my trumpet is ginger!
I mean... how insulting cn you get?!?!
It's not ginger, it's just got a hint of ginger on the bell!!!
So yeah... and she stole my crisps once crying
Therefore... I conclude that Tenor Saxes are better!

Another reasons why Altos are evil:
Today whilst I was playing, she thought it was really funny to tickle me so I would jump and go into a 3 second wierd fit, which gave the piece we were playing a big random glissando type thing in the middle of it.
Altos are mean and evil.
End of.

Ok that girl seems very mean to you..but you shouldn't insult and have a bad opinion of the alto sax just because she plays it. So GO ALTO SAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me, I just enjoy the sound of it. I've played Alto Sax in Concert and Marching band for 5 years. Its a Fickle thing to March with, but in Concert band its nice. It has such a powerful sound that we constantly have to sound like french horns....Hate it. Although, I am rather partial to the sound on a GOOD trumpet. We had an AMAZING trumpet in our old band, and he had only started a year before I met him! And u'm sorry your trumpet is ginger. blaugh

I played the alto all through high school, but I gave it up in order to play percussion. I miss it sometimes.
