chapter 1
a boy ran down the street crying he ran behind some bushes and stayed there crying a girl walked over to him. -girl->
"whats wrong" she asked the boy looked up at her boy->
"some mean kids beat me up" he said. the girl sat down infront of him "my names mia whats yours" she asked. "im max" he said the girl smiled. "well where do you live max" mia asked "i live in the big white house by the bakery" max said. "well come on i will walk you home" she said she helped him up and they walked back to maxs house once there max waved goodbye to his new freind as she walked off. max went into his house were his mom asked what happened after he explained he took a bath and got changed and went to bed. the next day would be his first day at school he couldint wait.
"max time to wake up" his mom called max woke up he got changed and got drove to school he walked into the class room with his lunchbox and who was there to greet him no one but mia. "hi max hpw are you today" mia asked "im good you" max asked "im fine hey sit next to me" she said. they both took a seat next to each other when two boys came over and pulled his chair down flinging max to the ground. "hey this are table" mia said "not anymore now beat it little girl" the older boy said mia got up and walked over to max. "you okay" she asked "yeah" max said she helped him up and they both took a seat at a diffrent table. max and mia were inceperable reading time naptime even lunch they sat next to each other then when it was time to go they both waved goodbye and said same time same place. once max got home his mom asked a question "so who was that girl maxie" she asked "her names mia shes the girl i told you about yesterday" max said. "well she seems nice dont forget to invite her to your birthday" his mon said "i wont" max said.
the nextday at school it was during recess max and mia were sitting on the swings shareing a hershy bar when thouse boys came over they pushed max off the swing then picked him up. "give me your candy" said the older boy who was holding max up by the collar of his shirt "i dont have anymore" max said gasping for air. they throw max aside and walked off mia ran over to max "are you okay max" mia asked "no it hurts" max said he should he was thrown right into a metal pole mia ran and got the teacher who carryed max into the nurses office. mia waited outside the door the nurse came out "is he okay" mia asked "hes fine but were going to send him home anyways just incase" the nurse said maxs parents came mia watched from the window of the classroom as max got into the car and it drove off. mia had never felt as lonely.
