AmnesiacX Range is a good example of this. Most of the bows look the same, just a different kind of wood, same with arrows except different tips. There really doesnt seem to be a difference in how you use them, so why have a higher lvl? Its all just different colored pixles. Actually, Range makes sense. A different types of wood and the tension on the string are all different. A bow made of a normal log in real life, would snap fairly easily if you were an experienced Bowman, and had a nice Maple longbow, with the 150lbs pull tension on the string, compared to the 20 lbs of a normal bow.

Slayer kinda doesn't make sense. (I say that, because this could be very easily argued.)
Well, it's a skill where you are only allowed to kill specific monsters if you have had enough experience killing specific monsters you have been told to kill.
Sooo....you could kill all the monsters you like, but you'll never be able to harm that dust devil unless you get enough experience in being told to kill things! Even though you've spent your entire life killing whatever the hell you want, you won't be able to harm dust devils because what you have been killing, you haven't been told to kill them.
If things worked in a way so Slayer makes sense, anything you'd ever kill would give you slayer experience. And what the hell kind of skill would that be?
It's kinda like this: So, lets say You go to the store a lot, and always buy candy bars. You just buy whatever the hell you fancy at the time. But since you were never told by someone to buy a specific candy bar your entire life going to the store, they'll never let you buy the really big candy bars in the back! I mean, hell, you've had enough buying experience, so you should be able to handle that candy bar? Right? RIGHT?
Well, wrong.
It's a similar concept, I think. I wonder if Im actually making sense.... xp
I also think that this can very easily be argued....meh....too tired....just going to wrap this post up and get to bed. Maybe later when my brain is working right, I'll talk about a different skill that fits the retarded theme better. Good luck to whoever is going to try making sense of this. >.>;;
