Katane
DV, what is a clipping error? It has nothing to do with my rate, but I was just wonderin.
3nodding Here, let me show you. I used Teri's avatar just because I needed a quick example - though I probably should've used one with bigger colour contrasts:

As the gloves go
under the sleeves, the circled parts should
not be visible (as they're part of the gloves and not the PJs.). I don't deny for a second that it's rather nitpick-y of me, but like I said, it's a pet peeve and I can't help noticing - and being bothered - by it.
Likewise, if you look at Jolty's entry, one arm shows the gray part of the 90's gloves, but the other doesn't. Some people might not care, but I think it disrupts the symmetry.
Essentially, a clipping error is when a part that shouldn't be visible
is.
3nodding Oh, and one last thing. Could you do me a favour and show me how your entry would look with a black, long-sleeved shirt? I'm just curious.
surprised Calmer: I actually like how the 90's vest (I think that's what Kat was wearing with the dress) removes sleeves. It's a glitch, but it can produce some very interesting effects. Unfortunately, only in the front view, though.
xp EDIT: Here, a better example:

EDIT II: Actually, the term "clipping" might only refer to 3D graphics... I'm not certain if it's 2D equivalent has any other name.
