Thankful for the thick haze that surrounded them, Roderick managed to dodge the Zora's deadly slash; he heard her voice, soft and confident, drift through the fog. It was a double-edged situation; though the fog provided cover, at the same time, it masked the enemy's location. She was out there, somewhere... and if he wasn't careful, he'd waltz right into sharpened steel.
"You don't believe me?" Roderick asked in mock indignation, slicing through the mist in a wide arc. "I'm naught but a humble wandering artisan. For a few Rupees I fix things, build things... hell, when the mood strikes, I'm even known to kill things." His eyes flashed in humor, sword arm sweeping before him, searching for its target through the fog. "But I'm sure you've had plenty of practice in that category."

'Keep slashing away oh fine warrior' mars thought deviously, hearing the soft swish of metal through the air, a fine humming sound as the simple road traveler struck out searching for her. Drawing in a soft hissing breath as she felt the breeze of a blade passing close by.. a bit to close for her comfort.
Smirking slightly as she listened to him speak, trying to get a good sense of his position. "Lets just say..I feel there's a bit more to you then being a traveling artisan." her high melodic laugh echoing slightly, giggling as the man mentioned killing with such a fun tone. "You could say I have some experience in that particular..art. Though I wouldn't brag about myself" the zora hummed, pacing quietly to where she felt was behind the man, slashing out at him once more.

"Observant of you." Roderick's lips quirked as he jerked backwards, losing himself in the fog; her scythe whizzed by just inches from his torso. It was a battle of close shaves, that was for certain...
"Takes a killer to know one, I suppose. 'Cept I don't go about advertisin' with a giant scythe in tow..." He chuckled and swung forwards, blonde ponytail whipping behind him, as his sword danced through the air.
"But this is just between you 'n me, lady warrior." His eyes crinkled in mirth above the steel of his blade. "I'm an artisan... and you, the killer."

"Let's call the scythe an overcompensation for my size, besides who would believe I had even the slightest ability to be violent unless I walked around with this?" she replied sweetly, glad that the man found her weapon interesting, hearing another swish of metal meeting wind, though this one was much more distanced, the man had so totally missed!
"True true, an artisan and a murderess, even though your no petty prey.." she teased, skin glimmering momentarily in the mist of the fog, red eyes flashing in hunger as she listened for his footsteps, so hard to hear them muffled as things were by the denseness and the wind..
Rushing into the center twirling her weapon fancily before slashing out behind her, not trusting her senses to find the man, she didnt want to be slashing about wildly either.
Hp:95/100

 All is quiet! The dungeon falls dormant!  « [ C L O U D I N G F O G ] »
Blitz Description Like a vacuum, the fog is sucked back into the bottom edges of the walls from which it was born. All is clear and visible again, and to your surprise, only you and your opponent are left standing within the confines of the dungeon -- the mysterious shadow lurkers have vanished. The dungeon has ceased its attack on you...for now.

"Your... size? But they say the most dangerous things come in small packages." Roderick gave a short laugh, then whirled about, sidestepping the Zora's blade. The fog had lifted without warning, the forest scenery emerging once more.
He squinted, watching the faint shimmer of scales in the darkness. Now that they could both see again, the battle had gotten a lot more dangerous... but it was more exciting this way. Especially with a mysterious opponent who knew what she was doing!
"So tell me," he began lightly, bringing his sword around and down. "What brings you to the heart of this forest tonight, where our paths inevitably crossed?"

"Flattery will get you no where my friend" mars smiled quietly though her ego sustained a boost from the kind playful comment, this man roderic was a rather interesting character, even his laugh was fun!
Watching the man sidestep her attack, the fog lifting away revealing the scenery around him, she could now see his blond hair, the sheen of his blade against the firelight and the moon. Giving him a toothy grin as she caught him looking at her as well, this would be far more interesting now without the deep fog to hinder their sight or movements.
The clang of steel against steel as she intercepted his attack with her scythe, throwing the attack wide of her body. "What brings me here tonight? A simple outing is all, maybe I was just lonely for company" slicing up and across at her assailant "I felt a presence in the forest and I just had to come and explore, I never imagined to find you though"

(( I'm really sorry, Shini-- I don't think I'll have the time to continue, I haven't been able to RP in forever due to IRL sad It was really fun to RP with you, though!
