Just got back from seeing it, and I loved it. Lot's of homage from part 2-4, with a little bit of the original at the very beginning. I found myself cheering for Jason like never before. I thought it represented the series as a whole very well - everything you'd expect.

Let me make myself clear.
Every post you've made consists of 2 words or less. Each one more useless than the last. This is a discussion guild, therefore requires more than "love it", "saw it", or "good". Which seems to be your favorite things to say. If you're going to reply, add some of your insight to the films. You PM me telling me that I'm an a*****e, yet here you are, making useless replies to a slow guild that, honestly, doesn't need another useless poster.
I don't care if you think I'm an a*****e. Because honestly, I think you're one as well.
As for Friday the Thirteenth. It's getting ridiculous.
I'm tired of all these remakes, this whole writers thing is getting on my nerves. This is why we're seeing 0 good horror films being made, people can't come up with original ideas so they resort to remaking, or even worse "reimagining" the film. I might see it out of some kind of neurotic need.
