Omigosh! Omigosh! Omigosh! Really? Really?! REALLY?! I cannot believe it! That is so cool.
Labyrinth sequel is a bad idea, though. As much as I would like to see one, it just wouldn't be the same without the original cast. Jennifer Connely is still looking pretty good.... but David Bowie... not so sure.

We Have A Winnar Hopefully it will be good, though I think they will be lossing some of the feel of the origional by using CG instead of stop-action animation. It wasn't stop action animation I don't think. It was puppets wasn't it? But I do agree about the losing the feel. I like cg, but sometimes I like me some old fashioned fabric and faux fur. XD

Lolicat von Doom I don't think the movie needs a sequel. I adore Henderson's productions, but I'd rather see a newly imagined universe than something that might not measure up the original. As an aside, does everyone else feel totally devoid of ideas because the media pushes so many remakes on us? I personally feel that as a species, we've really run out of steam in the past five or so years. At least, looking at the film industry... I completely agree with you. The industry is getting stagnant.

The industry is getting stagnant. Its cuz they're so worried about profit they won't go with anything untried. My mom has a handful of original screenplays that have never made it because they were worried that it wouldn't attract enough people. But besides her, there are tons of original screenplays out there but its all about franchise and no risk enterprises these days. Its just really hard for new people to break into the business and when no fresh talent comes in, yes, it stagnates. Okay, I'm done with mah rant now.

Gypsey_Girl Valkyrie_Saphria Have you read the Return to Labyrinth manga? It's good. Check it out. ive read it. the story line is good, and the cover art is good. but the story art burning_eyes . Same here. I had a temper tantrum when I read it on Tokyopop. I was really dissapointed. I wasn't too happy with the storyline, at first actually, but its starting to pick up. Do you know they have a Dark Crystal manga? Haven't read it yet...
