Personality: Loving to those she is close to, always having hope, Amarantha is often a wonderful person. But she has a hot temper and is easy to anger, even more so since she arrived here.
History: Amarantha lived happily with her clan, as she grew up, a normal young lady of her clan. She had seen the exiling of Antigonos, but accepted it as fair, for her clan leader had chosen it, and the traders Antigonos spoke against had always seemed right. Her clan's home was in and around a human village that had always been accepting of the Gargoyles.
As she grew, she met her future mate and fell deeply in love with him. One day, after they'd attained adulthood, she and he had gotten married. In the next year or so, she had her first clutch of eggs, 4 total. In the months that followed, she and her love were very happy.
Then one day, the traders came again, and this time... That night, they attacked, assaulting the village, wiping out everyone. They went for the gargoyles, the humans, the children, the animals, and the various clutches of eggs. Amarantha's mate tried to hold them off while she carried their clutch off, but she only got out with one, as the raiders felled her beloved, and destroyed the other 3 eggs.
Distraught, hunted, and needing safety, she flew off as fast as she can, until a male of her kind appeared nearby. He guided her to a place of safety, which is when she noticed who had rescued her. Antigonos... She was understandably unnerved, yet when he rescued her, she could not turn him down, and in the end, he was her savior. He gained a scar from all this, but in the end, led them to their new clan's home, were they have settled, and were Amarantha's only surviving child was hatched. Amarantha now believes she owes Antigonos a great debt, and is also very attached to him, as her savior and the only other she knew from before. Whether this attachment is just that of friends, in the long run, or whether her emotions change to more, remains to be seen. She does, however, believe he has no interest in her, beyond friends at best.

Curse: Dexterity
Gift: Presence
Personality: Only beginning to really develop, Ceana seems to be a happy, cheerful baby, if perhaps a bit klutzy.
History: Newly hatched, as Amarantha's only surviving child, she's very much loved and protected by her mother, and perhaps a little spoiled. She's met her 'Uncle Anti' a few times, and has seemed to become most attached to him, and also seems to have him just a little bit under her baby-thumb.
