Rose laughed loud, louder than she expected, "Light, what light...." the reference to light had stuck her wihtout warning, " there has been no light for most of my life and even so, all the bloody Lights have is torches and that wont do them much good up in Nightmares teritory now will it............oh uh sorry." Rose said relizing she was ranting. Some how the the reference to actual light and not the Lights always struck her hard. it was when it all when down hill and she had lost her normal life. When her family and friends were now a memory and how she had found herself change into one of Nightmares soliders.

"No problem, but recently there have been artificial lights in the Light territory. It gets bloody annoying when Im trying to kill someone with anyone seeing me." He shook his head frustratedly and lay on his back.

Rose leaned her head back on the tree and punched it with the side of her hand, " damn those Lights. they think they are so much better than we are. they think they can find a weakness in us. those Lights better not be to excited down there."

"apparently not!" Rose yelled completely ticked off by the Lights new strategy. " this changes everything now. before the shadows were ours! a place we had the advantage, we leave their villeges alone for the most part! Now they have this! i knew they were up to something but i dodnt know what! i mean a light isnt that horrible they must use them in thier towns but in a fight......" Rose slumpted down next to a tree and put her head down, "....... I hate those Lights!" she yelled

Rose picked up a stone and twirled it in her hand. watching it as it weaved in and out between her fingers. " its strange... i hate the lights so much, but i used to be one. some are born this way but i wasnt. i saw the light but now i live for the dark. after everything that happened i just cant seem to understand why i ever liked the light the way i did."

Rose looks to the side muttereing, " yea he really is." looking back foward, " but what i mean is that i once loved the feeling of the light. i loved sitting out in the light and watching the light shine, but now all that is gone. i mean suddenly i hated it, all of it. i wanted it gone, i hated all of them and wanted only darkness. now i'm going back to the lights village and i'm starting to think about my past there. its not like i havent done that before, go to the village i mean, but now i'm pretending to be one of them and it makes me wonder about what happened to those i knew. those i left behind"

I find myself being attracted more and more to the light over time, yet I refuse to change sides because with the darkness I can have more fun. This just goes to show that humans can change, but will either resist as I am doing, or will give in unknowingly, such as what happened with you."

suddenly and without warning Rose lept up and grabbed Vincent by the front of his shirt and pushed him up against a tree, hard. she looked at him with pure anger in her eyes, " Listen close Vincent, i may wonder what happened to my friends and family, i might still remember the light, and i might be going to the villiage dressed as one of those stupid Lights, but i have NOT switched sides. and i dont plan to. i simply wonder how its changed. sure I've thought about what it would have been like if i hadnt come here but at the end of the day I'm part of the Darkeness, Nightmares army. and thats something that cant and wont change no matter how many times i tick off Nightmare,or how much i remember my past." Rose's expression softened, " it's not the Lights i really care about anyway. the only people i wonder about is my parent and two of my friends. for all i know they could be dead. one of them was starting to become one of us. he knew what was hapening to him and what had happened to me. he told me that when it happened he would come to Nightmares army, but he never did. i never found out what happened to him. he was my best friend and he could have been killed before he had a chance to come here."

Rose let go and walked away to wer she had been before and leaned against the tree her back to Vincent, " heh, its not like you care anyway. and i dont care how i act." Rose had had enough anger she didnt feel like dealing with it, so Rose fell back onto the ground and looked up at the black sky, " ever notice how theres no stars either. ya know i just relized that. when the light left so did the stars. odd isnt it." it was as if Rose wasnt even the same person who just minutes ago had been yelling.
