Abla made a small face at what he said and shook her head. "I'm very sorry to hear that." She sighed softly, she had her down falls in her past too. Born of blindness, bad father, killed mother, failed mates, so many things but she never let it affect her. She loved spending time with her brother these days though. She would hang around his pride help with any new cubs from her nieces and nephews. She could swear that there were always some kind of cub around there. She used to call it a factory some times, but she didn't mind watching cubs. "I normally hang around my brother's pride, but I'm free to roam and I do a lot of it." That was true Abla always loved to wander she didn't let her blindness get in the way of anything, never she wasn't one to do that.

Red nodded, "It's a good life to live, if there's somewhere to go back to." He smiled and shrugged, "I'm waiting for an opportunity to find the pride that destroyed my home..." His words drawled out - there was no need to complete the thought. "But for now, I bounce between wandering and staying at my home in the desert... Though you're lucky to have cubs to watch over - there's always joy in keeping them out of trouble." At that, his demeanor changed slightly and he chuckled softly.

Abla could feel the conversation change for the moment. She could feel his tension, or more of his determination. He really wanted to find that pride. She didn't blame him. Some times she wanted to find her father. Hurt him in some way shape or form. Santos would be more than happy to help her... It was an idea... "I knew there were others who wander between their home and the lands outside of it, some one told me not that long aog it wasn't good. I simply wandered away from them. I can't stand staying in one place for long times. I mean I always head home but..." She shrugged before a smile grew on her face again. "Ah yes. I love cubs. They are wonderful." She chuckled softly licking her lips.

"Well," he said, shrugging and rolling on to his side, letting his head hang off the side of the rock, his good eye facing down so he could see her, "others always say that the things they don't do are wrong... I think staying in one place your whole life is as wrong as never settling down."

Abla nodded to his words in agreement. She sat up some more, still laying down, but crossing her legs in front of her. "Ah that I have to agree with, others want you to be like them." She shrugged then chuckled softly. "Settling is good, but only when you are ready. I love my brother's pride and I love everyone else there, I will happily live there with them but I like to wander that's simply it." She flashed him a grin. "Hmm... Do you like to play tag?" She asked arching a brow in his direction, sitting up where she was.

Red rapped his toes on the rock for a moment, considering her question. "I have to say, I've never played, though I've watched my friend play a couple of times... Why?"

Abla chuckled softly before she nodded toward him. "I was going to suggest playing it." But as she talked her flakes twitched and she smelt the air. "Rain is coming though. And I have to leave." She stood up before nipping at his nose then nodding to him again. "I'm horrible with getting around in the rain. I have to go..." Her voice trailed as she turned around and started to trot quickly back to where she came from. "Goody bye Red, my friend." She chuckled softly. "Until we meet again." She turned back to him with a soft smile before she continued on her way home. Oh how she wished she could run into him again.
