"Stick around?" Unlike Treasure, Romsca kept his voice light but his eyes serious, though still loving. "You talk as though you expect me to go someplace." He smiled at her as he continued to row. "Well, I may not know the sea very well, but I have faith that you'll make sure it won't do anything to me like sweep me out or something." He smiled wider, trying to let Treasure know that he had gotten the message. "Don't worry; I wouldn't dream of going anywhere and leaving you. And I still want to try and get to know the sea a little better, because I know being on it makes you happy."
He really did want to share her happiness, and who knows, maybe he could show her a few things inland that she could find happiness in. He could still remember how forlorn she had seemed up on the mountaintop with her untied sandals. Perhaps he could show her some of the wondrouns things about mountains, so that she wouldn't be as worried about being up on one. As he looked over at her now, rowing with him, he couldn't really imagine her being afraid of anything.
Trying to match her rowing pace even as she was matching his, he asked, "Is it really far ahead? I can't wait to see it!"

A happy sigh escaped her as he met her gaze with his own, glad beyond words at his understanding and hoping to be able to return it on his land when they returned. She grinned a little, still getting used to saying 'when' she returned instead of 'if', even if she had been saying it for a few months now. It still took her back how an ol' seadog like herself could have settled down so much as she had.
"I think it may be a while ahead, but ye'll hear when we get close," she replied with a grin, "There's no roarin' lyke th' water's do aroun' me little cove." She was, of course, referring to the waterfall that dropped right into her little lagoon paradise, noting to herself that she'd have to look for a place to dock as soon as they got within hearing distance or they'd risk going over in the boat.
Her grin widenned and she looked over at Romsca slyly, "Speakin' o' th' difference 'atween land an' sea, have ye noticed who our likkle Savvy has been playin' wit' lately?"

"Roaring waters?" Romsca beamed at Treasure. "Why's it roaring? Are there lobsters in its bed?" Chuckling at his own weak joke, he turned and looked at Treasure with a little surprise. "Well, I knew that she and Briny have been rediscovering each other, so to speak, but I don't think I've heard of anyone else. I'm assuming she speaks more to you since she is with you more often; is it a fella, or does she have a fella yet? I know Briny has yet to find himself a girl, which continues to confuse the heck outta me; he's such a handsome boy, what with our combined good looks." ^^

"If there were lobster in it's bed I think it would be cryin' instead!" Treasure laughed, shaking her head. The fact that Briny was with his father more and Savvy was with her mother more made Treasure certain that before she had any more kits she wanted a home were they could all be together, hopefully the little paradise cove that she had already found would be a possible option.
"I wunner why he hasn't found anyone yet?" she mused, "Savvy's likkle frein' is 'un she had when she was still a kit, they jus' decided te see if they wan' te be more 'an that." They did look cute together, Treasure smiled, "She calls 'im Fire Britches, he's a fire Pokemir so he actully cannae go in th' sea, but she seems te think it'll be alright like that."
She grinned a little more, "Wit' our combined good looks he should be dazzlin' all th' ladies te death!" It began to confuse her as well on why Briny hadn't found anyone yet. Maybe he was just waiting for that special someone? They couldn't all find their soulmate right away; Savvy hadn't even known she might have found hers until she'd known him for her whole childhood and then some.

"Ahh, childhood friends." Romsca tilted his head back to contemplate. He tried to remember his childhood friends, but most of his life seemed rather blurred and fuzzy. Had he had many childhood friends? Or was he more like Didd; just bouncing around and pestering everyone until someone played with him? And seeing as he was the oldest in his group, it wasn't as though he could get the answers from any of them.
He shrugged at Treasure. "I'm not sure. He doesn't seem too keen on finding anyone, but maybe he just hasn't felt the desire to yet. He loves the sea you know, just like his mother. It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up finding a nice lady of the sea to pal around with. But come what may, he's a handsome boy, and he'll be a good partner for somebody, just like Savvy." He paused for a second and pretended to contemplate. "Hmm....I'm not sure I like the sound of that. Maybe I should chaperone her and this....boy." >=D

"Ne? Well, he'll be knockin' some socks offa th' ladies when he fin'lly decides te," she nodded, actually thinking that it was partially a good thing that Briny was as of yet uninsterested in mating. Having to give up sailing with her daughter was making her feel sad and somewhat old already, she didn't know what she'd do if both of her children found their own partners to give her grandchildren at the same time, "Grandchildren, I ne'er actually thought there'd be th' possibil'ty ef me havin' any."
"I dun think Savvy weuld lyke th' sound ef 'at," Treasure laughed, "She's her own likkle person, but if'n ye wan' te meet 'im I kin prob'ly convince her te let ye."
