Reality caught up with them and the swans in the lake showered them in the wake of their flight. Rune shook the water out of his coat as well as he could and turned to Takashen. "Now, we begin an adventure. And he ran in the first direction he felt like running, west. As if he could outrun the sunrise. "Taka!" she called back, "Race you and Ammy!" Referring to the sun goddess by the nickname he used when he was sure she still wasn't awake to hear him. It was a sort of joke, since it was the night which seemed to have claimed nim.

Takashen stared in awe as everything went back to normal."Does this happen everyday?"He looked at rune."Is the sun goddess nice?I have never met anything close to a god.."He looked around."Now i will race after i get answers"He laughed

"Every night," Rune Heart corrected, "At exactly the mid of night. And... I haven't really met her, though I've seen her around. You might if you wander around enough in the Twilight Hour." Truth was, he didn't know what would happen if a Night child like he came near a Sun-born with the gift he was bestowed. The situations he imagined always ended in chaos. He didn't wish to try. "She's pretty," he decided to answer. It was true.

Maybe, when hey weren't subject to this power, they'll go to meet her. What a surprise to have two helix suddenly appear before you. Rune spread his wings to stabilize and ran after Takashen. Not too far into the day they happened upon a strange serpentine creature. It wasn't scaled like a snake, so it was probably not dangerous. But could it speak? Rune sniffed cautiously.

Takashen ran without care untill he saw rune stop.He looked above him and there was a giant snake looking thing."Um..Back away slowly"

"Why in the world? We're not even sure if it's hostile." Rune took a step towards the thing. He couldn't seem to catch its smell, though there was no reason to; no wind or rain. The gargantuan creature lay its eyes on the pups and slowly lowered its great head to take a whiff itself.

"True," he admitted. "Maybe, ask it." He took his own advice and asked the serpentine creature. "Well? Can you?" It opened its maw so wide that Rune thought it was going to eat them, but it only yawned. He made a funny face, "Fish breath." He backed away. "You try Taka."

"In your head!?" Rune exclaimed. Who would've guessed? "Excuse me mis serpent?" Nothing... He couldn't hear a thing. "... I can't hear..." Of course he couldn't, his mind was blocked but he didn't know that. He couldn't if he tried to recall, but it was a peculiar spell placed on him. But why ever?

"Well..." he'd never given thought to anything much, one of his weak points. "We wish to know. It's common courtesy to answer when asked your name. Unless there's a good reason not to speak it. At least something to call you, yes?" he directed the words to both at a time.
