 Holly was sitting on a bench in the park of the great city of Cassiopeia. She was humming to herself a happy, bright song that she hoped would make other chandra feel good when they heard it. She loved to make others feel good with her singing or good news.

Rudolph trotted along, his short tail flickering side to side as he went, lost in thought. He paused, hearing music, and looked around, trying to work out were it came from. After a minute, he noted a female Chandra, singing as she sat, and he moved closer, half hidden behind a tree, not wanting to distract her... nor wanting to be teased about his poor nose.

She reached the end of her song and finally stopped. She took the bottle of water she had and took a long drink. She wiped away the bit of water that escaped her mouth and smiled. Today was a beautiful day, she wondered if there were anyone around to spent it with?

Rudolph smiled a little, then started to just head down the street, thinking he'd move on. Most people weren't likely to stop him, after all, he was an odd one.

Holly heard something behind her and stood up. A chandra was walking away, "Hey!" She said and jogged over to catch up. She wanted to spend the day with someone, and now someone was there. "Hi!"

Rudolph froze, and winced before she could see his expression, then slowly, slowly he turned to face her. "Hi..." His voice was calm, and deep, but he was nervous under the mask of calm he wore.

Holly smiled as the other chandra turned around. He was a different kind of chandra, which was cool. "I'm Holly! What's your name?" She saw his red nose, but didn't mind. She did wear candles on her head!

"I... I'm Rudolph." His voice, a melodic, soothing sort of voice, held just a tiny hint of how shy and nervous he truly was. "It's nice to meet you, Holly."

Holly stuck out her hand for a proper greeting. "It's nice to meet you too!" She smiled and then looked around. "What are you doing today?" If he wasn't busy maybe he'd want to do something with her.

"I was just going for a walk." He blinked at her hand, then took it, and shook it, surprised but trying not to show it. "Nothing too special." He released her hand, and tilted his head.

Holly smiled, "Would you like company?" She hoped she wasn't intruding, but she really wanted to be around other chandras more. Rudolph seemed like a nice chandra to meet.
