Mike gave a sigh of relief while completely ignoring the bear pokemon. They were not gunna get along anytime soon, it would seem. "Well, anyway, I guess we should get goin' and make our way around. Maybe later, ya could should me around the ci-"
A loud purr behind the two of them cut off the rest of Mike's sentence. Spinning around, his eyes widen in delight at the sight. A large Luxray (think five feet, eight inches tall over it's usual four foot, seven inches) sat on it's haunches and stared at the two of them with amused eyes. Behind the pokemon was Nurse Joy, looking like she had just chased the pokemon through the woods.
"I'm sorry about that. I was taking him for a breath of fresh air when he suddenly up and ran off. Looks like he must have seen you through the trees." The pokemon healer smiled when Royal stood and walker over to his partner, nudging the hand and purring softly with his tail flicking from side to side.
Mike reached out and gave his buddy a hug before nodding at the Nurse. "Thank ya, Miss. I'm hopin' he wasn't too much of a problem?"
"Not at all! A little upset that he was in a pokeball but a good boy none the less. I hope to see you again." She turned and walked away from the Rangers, making way towards the Pokemon center.

Messa was too slow to give a greeting or a goodbye to Nurse Joy. She grimaced slightly, but smiled over to the Luxray. "He...He's so large!" Messa croaked with amazement. Such a big Pokemon! The biggest Pokemon she ever seen was a Milktank at her cousin's farm. And that was just Meeka's baby calf, Milta. Taking a step towards it, Messa trembled as she reached out her hand, having Kiru buckled to her torso with her other. "He's friendly, right?" she questioned, hoping that the answer was a yes.
Kiru snorted when he saw the Luxray, narrowing his green eyes to slits. " Ur ur urrrr sa! ( Poor guy, stuck with an idiot! )" he called with a giggle.

"Ain't he? Blame mah mom fer that one. She specializes in Electric types." Mike watched with pride as Royal growled in a friendly manner and gently nuzzled the female rangers' hand. "He's a friendly guy; he's gotta be since he's a Ranger pokemon, right Royal?" He laughed and ducked his head when the Luxray snorted and gently fwapped his human on the head with his forepaw. "Hey messa? Would jah be willin' to give us country boys a tour of dah city?"
Royal caught the teddiursa's insults and growled in warning to the small pokemon. "(You best watch your mouth, child. The only idiot is the one mouthing off without knowing the other.)"

Kiru growled back, flailing his retracted clawed paws at the Luxray. He was a tiny fella compared to the Luxray, heck, he was tinier than a regular Teddiursa, being six inches smaller than an average sized one. But even so, he had a large ego that really needed to be deflated. "Hmmph! Looks who talking! Oversized buffoon!"
Messa just giggled at Kiru and the Luxray. "Adorable, they are getting along!" Hugging Kiru tighter to herself to prevent the Panddiursa from slipping out, Messa nodded her head. "Sure! W-Where would you like to go first?"

Royal only snorted at the flailing Teddiursa, choosing to stop the argument before it got any worse. He stood up and flicked his tail again, waiting for the humans to start moving.
"Well, you can pick! Since I dun't know anything about this place beyond what I saw at the docks." He nodded slightly at the "getting along" statement (though Mike himself seriously doubted that at this point and time) and made a polite "after you" motion with his hands.

Messa thought for a minute with her finger to her lip as she took a couple steps forward. "Well, you must be hungry...So we can go..huh?" Messa paused as an annoying chirp was heard from her stylus. She picked at it, trying to figure out how in the Pokemon world she was going to hear the message. Finally, her thumb tapped a button and a loud message played into the air.
"Meeeessssssssssssssssssssaaaaaaaaa! It's me, Meeka! Just calling to say Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! I'm bored just traveling with my Pokemon. And I'm hungry! Oh wait, look! A Milktank Farm ( 8D )! Hold on a minute, I want some Milktank Milk. Here, PojiPaji, hold this!
...Cha? Pikacha! Pikaaaa! Cha Cha! Chaaaaa~. Pikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapikapika! Peeeeeka.
Oh crap! The milk wasn't free. Messa, you gotta help me! They are chasing me! Gah, I fell. Crap, did I break my Pokegear? Crap, they are coming closer...Gah, Messa!
Peeeka! Peeekaaaachaa! Pika!"
Messa didn't know whether to feel embarrassed or just plain confounded at her cousin. She was such a weird person! Coughing slightly to try and change the subject, Messa just smiled sheepishly. "Sandwich Shop. Over there. Lets go...!" Messa just marched out, not wanting to hear what Mike thought of her overly zealous cousin.

"Food? Food is always good after a long journey at sea." He was about to make another bad joke when the onslaught of hyperness came from the message. When it ended and Messa moved on, Mike only chuckled and ran after her.
"You wouldn't happen to know if this place had a turkey club with honey mustard, would ya?" Wisely making no comment about crazy relatives, he glanced at his new surroundings as the street became rather busy.
Battle Royale gave a pleased growl as the aroma of fresh bread and confiments reached his sensitive nose. Moving through the crowd with ease he glanced at his partner before staring back at the sandwich shop nearby.

Messa blinked with a slight smile. "Not sure." she replied as she hefted Kiru up. "Why don't you ask?" Smiling again, a small grin wrapped itself around Messa's face as she stared down at the sleeping Panddiursa. Kiru stiffed relentlessly from his sleep as the smell of honey mustard tickled his nostrils. He immediately kicked himself loose from Messa's grip and pounced upon the sandwich clerk. "Kiru!" Messa croaked as she tried to reach over the counter. "Kiru, stop immediately!" However, the Panddiursa did not take heed of Messa's words. He just rush around and about the counter, causing mayonnaise and ketchup to clatter to the floor.

"Why do I ask?!" Mike pretended to be offended by such a question; putting his hand over his heart, he glanced up at the ceiling. "Honey mustard is the holiest of all holy condiments! Its awesome sharp/sweetness makes any sandwich taste good!" He would have continued his rant had Kiru not chosen that moment to go food-crazy.
Royale watched as Kiru dashed behind the counter to cause havoc to both his human and the working human in this place. Growling his annoyance, he jumped up and placed both forepaws on the counter to steady himself before glaring at the Teddiursa. (Cease your foolish actions! Else I make you stop!")
"Uh...." Mike just stared at the mess of food stuffs. "Is Kiru ALWAYS like this, Messa?"

Kiru stuck his tongue out at the Luxray before knawing on the arm of the shop clerk, who apparently shouted out in pain.
Messa stiffened as she nodded her head with a painful look on her face. "Y-yep..." she replied with utter malice. She reached over the counter and tugged at Kiru, who was still latched onto the sandwich seller's elbow. It took Messa a while, but she finally got the Panddiursa loose. From the appearance, it look like Kiru tore off skin. Having a chill run up her back from the angered look from the shop clerk, Messa grumbled. "Um...Um...I think you should o-order Mike..." Messa embarrassingly said as she sighed.
