File found Who can resist the alluring fury of Fremere's heart? His eyes like fire, glowing so vehemently they threaten to burn. Do you dare wear his tainted carapace?Well, this EI seems to look middle-aged but after some research, I am starting to wonder. Well, it does indeed sound like something like that, but now I'm thinking more a long the lines of a fire demon, or titan. Fremere, in italian means "tremble" or "shake." So I'm thinking right now that it may be some demon or titan that controls fire and the ability to, I don't know, make things tremble? Well, that's what it seems like at this point. I will wait for the next evolution to update this report.
It seems that it has evolved but only into small armor pieces not changing my theory at all, or hurting it. It may end up being medieval, but there is not much supporting it just like my theory. We will have to wait til the next evolution.Ideas of others: Quote: From what you have found, and just a random comment from the NPC Edmond, I think I have an idea. You said that Fremere means to tremble, right? And then the idea that it might be a fire demon or titan. Well, during the latest EI update, today's Evolving Item report had something about that piece of Pure Evil from Timmy might be crawling into a VOLCANO. This might be an idea. Or a hint. File yet to be updated

The word Fenrir comes to mind. Wasn't that a dog from mythology?

I was thinking Medieval or fantasy. The name could be a play off "Faramir" from Lord of the Rings. You know, like how World of Warcraft gets around the "Ents'" copyright with their "Treants".
It's hard to tell with the first generation still undeveloped. Anything could happen.

I would probably lean toward fantasy, though you're right: it's too early to tell. Unlike EI's like "nano-c" or "death whisper", this one isn't obvious as to the theme.

Weird in a good way The word Fenrir comes to mind. Wasn't that a dog from mythology? Fenrir (or Fenris) is a monsterous wolf and son of the Norse god Loki. At Ragnorok he is fated to slay Odin. Fenrir is so massive and ravenous that the gods feared his wranth, only the gold Tyr was brave enough to feed the beast. They bound Fenrir a magic thread made of six impossible items (a woman's beard, the sound of a cat's foot fall, ect). When this wolf breaks his mystic bonds the end of our world is near. This material can be found in the Poetic Edda and Prose Eddas, or wikipedia. Your choice.

Treant is actually a name.... for that thing... it's been around longer than World of Warcraft
It was Gygax or one of his helper... people... who did the copyright dodging.

I think Kani's idea holds real potential. An excellent close reading of the provided text.
I didn't know that fact about Gygax, but I was aware that Ents predate treants. I apologize if my previous statement was confusing.
